Overall, I really enjoyed my time here. I think that most of the staff cares a lot about the clients and wants to see them happy and successful. One thing I think that is really exceptional is how well River Oaks allows for and listens to client feedback. River Oaks gave me my self confidence back and I am a completely different person than I was 30 days ago. I really appreciated my time here and am looking forward to applying the knowledge I obtained to start the rest of my sober life.
River oaks is a great facility for treatment. All the therapist and groups are great. This place has helped me start the new chapter in my life.
River Oaks truly saved my life! The entire staff (nurses, therapists, TA, Maintenance etc.) done a great time during a time where a pandemic has changed the landscape of the world. They helped me tofight the addiction and with the facility as well as the other clients, helped me remember a time before using and when we could be outdoors. I was extremely happy with the gym equipment and the time with Jenn. She helped me to get started with great explanations and availability. It was fantastic to have someone available to open the gym early in the morning. This service helped my time here to be more successful. Chris
I called American Addiction Centers in January of 2020 and was sent to River Oaks the next day. I was so terrified to go and leave my newly married husband for a month, but little did I know how absolutely incredible this experience was going to be. I felt supported by all of the staff from day 1. They believed in me when I didn\'t even believe in myself. SO many staff members gave me hope throughout my time there. Awesome rehab, great groups with different modalities. They work with the science behind it also. NOT a cookie cutter rehab. My therapist Hirely was one of the best. She dove right into it with me and really listened. This is not my first rehab, so I have lots to compare to. I pray this will be my last. I have new insights. Now it is up to me to do the work! Accommodations are nice, beautiful property. The food is average, but you are not here for the food.
Coming to River Oaks was the best thing I could do for my Sobriety !!! I really loved the community of fellow recoverers, Staff and Support systems... I gained a ton of knowlege and am ready for my new life being sober and in the present.. Thank you for Everything !! Thank you for this remarkable experience. I appreciate the resources and the curriculum that has been employed throughout these walls. I am grateful to have had the VA 30-day Scholarship, which is due in large part to a wonderful gentleman named Zach. I pray I get to meet him someday because he has unquestionably changed my life.
