Ray has been a huge help to clients. She is very supportive and shows that she really cares. When I was having a mental breakdown she calmed me down and inspired me to push through and not give up! She sits with clients and shares her experiences of overcoming obstacles. Since coming to River Oaks I have learned the coping skills I will be able to use in everyday life, and maintain my sobriety. Thank You to all the staff at River Oaks Treatment Center for showing me how to Love myself again.

Skyler is an amazing woman, she is very inspiring, happy and very bubbly all the time. When I needed my raincoat from my luggage she stopped doing what she was and brought it right back to me so I didn't have to walk in the rain. She greets every client she passes and doesn't hesitate to sit and listen to our problems and has helped more people than she even knows. If you are struggling with addiction I would highly recommend coming to River Oaks Treatment Center. You will become part of an amazing family here.

The men's community wants to give a shout out to the drivers and transportation staff here at River Oaks. they are the first people you come in contact with and they make a great first impression. They go through a lot picking people up from the airport and dealing with so many difficult situations. They deserve recognition not only for always staying professional, but also for making everyone feel welcome.

Marissa the house keeper deserves kudos for how positive and upbeat she is all the time. She keeps everything so clean, especially the SHU where it always smells good and looks nice. Anything you need from Marissa she will have it ready for you and go out of her way to help. Incredible work ethic and customer service!

Shannon is my therapist and he has been one of the most understanding counselors I've had. I feel like he gets me because he takes his time and doesnt rush through session. He gives me a lot of food for thought and tools that can help me work on my anger and impulsive stuff that I deal with. Ive been learning a lot from the groups also which is helping with my therapy. I think I have a good change at keeping my sobriety once I leave and Im working to get my sober living set up with my case manager. I cant wait to take the ne... read more

Adrian the TA on my floor always makes himself available and is great with clients. He understands us and will point you in the right direction. Even if he doesn't know something, he will find out or get you with the person who does. I like that he rides his scooter to work, sometimes we call him Scooter on the floor and he's just overall really nice, along with all the other staff here. JR the maintenance guy has been the greatest at getting things done for us around campus! He is always the first one to offer to help, he came and sprayed for sugar ants in my room and was very helpful when we needed some clean up done with the cigarette butts outside. He is so easy to talk to that everyone likes to get advice from him, he will check in and follow up with yo to make sure you got everything you need. If youre lucky, he will even give you a ride on his go-cart!

Nurse Glenn has been so kind to me since first arriving. He is one of the most compassionate nurses Ive met. There are so many places I have been to where the nursing staff was not kind what so ever. They help you with your meds but they also talk to you and make sure youre feeling ok, help connect you with the doctor, and are always there in case of emergency. Everyone loves Glenn because he knows everyone's names and always has their meds ready. I love when he does med pass!

Tarshae is an awesome Tech. She advocates for the clients needs, has gone above and beyond for me. She appears laid back, but don't let that fool you, she enforces the rules and makes sure everyone is where they are supposed to be. I have been able to talk to her about my situations and personal issues with no judgement. She cares for us clients and has been a huge help to me when I wanted to leave.
