Rob is one of the many great Therapists at River Oaks. Not only did he come to my room to check in with me because I was to sick to get out of bed, but he brought me the handouts of the lessons he taught. I related with the topics of most of his groups and also learned some things I didn't even know. River Oaks really worked for me and I had an experience learning new and interesting things. Mind-fullness matters.
Therapist Shannon facilitated an impromptu process group. He kept the attention of so many men that wanted to process different things. He made a way to keep us captivated and interested. He is very genuine and makes us feel really relaxed without falling asleep. Also is truly smart and never acted like he was better than any of us. He represents River Oaks Treatment Center very well and I would recommend this place to others.
T.A. Skyler is a beautiful, and caring treatment advocate. She has great positive energy that anyone can pick up on. She is so easy to talk to and really does advocate for the clients. She got me shampoo and conditioner when I didn't have any. I really felt better after talking with her. River Oaks gave me the treatment I needed and I still stay in contact with them to this day.
Marco is the best Treatment Advocate, he is very helpful. Being bilingual also helped for those that don't speak very good English. He appears to always be on a mission tending to our needs. Marco is upbeat and will help anyone in need. If you are looking for a Treatment Center give River Oaks a call and see for yourself.
The nurse Xavier made my experience here so much easier. He has the best personality ever. He did medications quickly and efficiently. No matter how bad I felt he always made me smile! He took the time to familiarize himself with the clients and really took his job seriously. With staff like this who wouldn't want to come here for help through their addictions. All in all River Oaks has got to be the best. So give them a call already.
Thomas was a huge help in my Recovery. My first day here, he made me feel welcome, and didn't look down on me. He really enjoys his job, and it shows. He is such a hard worker and takes pride in everything he does. He always has a smile on his face and gives uplifting motivation. He sat with me when I needed someone to talk to even when his shift was over. I am so grateful to have met him! This Treatment Center is the BEST there is so give them a call and come see for yourself.
Dr. Vega has been my doctor here, has helped me figure out what medications worked for me. She is very compassionate and cares for my well being. She works hard at her job and at getting through all our needs in a timely manner. When I didnt like the way one of my medications made me feel, all I had to do was go and tell her and she got me on another one that has helped me to focus and feel better. She's the best. I highly recommend River Oaks to anyone that wants to take their Recovery seriously.
Bethany is one of the therapists from River Oaks that I have had the pleasure of working with. She sat in a group session with me and even participated right along with the clients! Christina is one of the best therapists anyone could ask for! She helped me process not only my addiction but everything else that comes with it. She seen that I was upset one day and quickly sat down with me and explained to me that I was going through P.A.W.S. and we all go through it.
