They have everything here that you need. The facility is really nice and has a huge gym with really nice equipment. I work out in there every day and it helps me get my body back on track with where it needs to be. They have lots of activities to do in the evenings after group including a community volleyball game. I like that they have housekeeping and my cleaning guy on my floor Raul is super helpful and polite. My medical team has been wonderful since getting here to River Oaks..I think Dr. Seena is super supportive and understanding. He knows a lot about addiction and is always willing to talk. He helped me stay informed about my medication and makes sure to give me encouragement to do the right thing. He has a lot of stories that are relatable and help me understand how addiction works. The nurses on my floor in the men's dorm are pretty chill especially nurse Glenn who stays on point with everyone's medication and doesn't take forever to get something done. he is professional and efficient and will go out of his way to put in a request to the doctor. he's really good about follow up and follow through. If he doesn't know the answer, he will find out and doesn't just keep you waiting. I like that he treats me like a person and not just a client, its refreshing.

Demetrius and his classes are just bad ass. I have never learned more valuable life lessons in rehab than I have from his classes. He keeps it so real and relatable because he talks about real life situations not just a bunch of textbook stuff. His classes have helped me so much with my anger and I love that he gives everyone certificates for participating. You seriously havent been to a class until you been to Demetrius classes. Everyone is on time and doesnt want to miss his lectures because he is so motivational!

Nurse Berri has been nothing but kind and professional toward me, she has a very calming demeanor and is one of the best nurses. She goes the extra mile not just for me or the people she likes, but for every single client no matter what the situation. The facility is very large and nice. It's one of the cleaner facilities Ive seen, they have lots of flowers and trees with walk ways and the maintenance people make themselves available, like JR- everybody loves him! He came right away to fix the sidewalk and you can tell he takes pride in his job, any time there is an issue or something is not working, he is right there making himself available.
