RecommendedI used their emergency services Sunday 6/25 when my Weimaraner developed troubling symptoms from ingesting an unknown toxic substance while off leash. The vet on call was so supportive and so thorough in doing the appropriate tests to rule out several immediate possible problems and eventually concluded that he had an opioid overdose. She administered Narcan and saved him. I will be forever grateful to her and the excellent staff there.
Yesterday Riverview saved my dogs life! My 11 year old best friend woke up bloated and in extreme pain. No vet within 100 miles would take him. I got him to Riverview and Dr Karen saw him right away and had him in surgery within a couple hours. everybody was so kind and the team was so skilled. They genuinely cared about my dog and it showed.
Excellent care for my 12-year-old Golden Retriever, Lizzie. I received devastating news about Lizzie's health, but I would recommend RAH and Doctor Jen to anyone - especially if your pet has a serious health issue (or you think so) and you want them to receive top-notch diagnostic services and a practical care plan beyond. RAH practices the professionalism and care you are looking for, in an efficient and effective environment. I'd rate them 12 million stars on a 1 -10 scale.

I was visiting from out of town, and it was easy to make an appointment with my pup who had a scratched eye. I was very worried about finding a veterinarian since many Durango veterinarians turned me away as a new client since I was from out of town. The staff is friendly, and I highly recommend this veterinarian to locals of Durango and to visitors.
10/03/2022. I took my dog Bandit in this morning for a wellness check/get his vaccinations current. Kristal and Dr. Jessica were very pleasant, and treated Bandit very well.
The vet is very personable. And my dog felt comfortable around him. The care was great. Being from out of town they took care of our dog quickly at the urgent care. We continued our vacation confident that our dog was healing. Thanks

They are the most accommodating and friendly folks. Highly rec them. Also ingenious booty provided for to keep bandage on foot clean. Made from plastic over bag. Works perfectly. Better than any sock or booty. Thanks
