Horrible customer service in the service department
Picked out a car which had just been taken in trade. Salesman said he would have it detailed and cleared by the service department and I could come back the next morning.... and somehow it was "inadvertently" sold that evening. Not impressed.
Please be very careful purchasing a car from here. The customer service afterwards is absolutely horrible. After purchasing my car I left there feeling great! Then 2 weeks later my check engine light came on. I had purchased the full warranty so took the vehicle back in. They had it for over a month and for two weeks it sat there without being looked at. This was a very disappointing experience. My husband and I were out looking at vehicles on June 2. Now we're had gone to different dealerships and getting prices. I have to say I will not be going back to this place. When we pulled up there were 2 salesmen sitting in a golfcart in the shade. We pulled in. They looked at the truck we were in then walked back into the dealership. Now giving benefit of the doubt. I thought maybe it wasn't their up. (WAS) looking to buy a CX5 and just had a total shit time testing driving one at Roger Beasley Mazda in Central Austin. Sales guy always had to something else to do and when we finally ran out of time (after being there an hour...to test drive one car) he was rude to us when we asked for my husband's driver's license back.
It's too bad that this is the only place that you can buy a Mazda in the Austin area. Last year when shopping for a new car I had a pretty horrible experience, which I detailed in Yelp review. Looking at my credit report this year, I saw that RB had conducted 7 hard credit inquiries (in one day), which is significantly more than the 1 I was told.
