A few friends and I flew down for memorial day weekend. Great time! Captain Mike Balon was a great guide, awesome stories, fun guy. Although it's pushing the off season, he put us on a lot of fish. The tiki bar was just what the doctor ordered after a long day fishing. Order the wings, they are amazing! Took a day trip with Captn Mike Balon. Really was a shot in the dark because we had one day during the week. The weather was fantastic and Captn Mike was a great guide and super person. Felt like I was fishing with my brother. Caught 35-40 bass 2-8lbs. Could not have asked for a better experience. My wife caught the biggest 2 fish. 7+lbs and 6'2" 240lb right in the back. LOL Captn Mike should be your go to guy when fishing on the Big "O"
We stayed there for the weekend and had a awesome time the staff were all helpful and friendly the guy in the bait shop helped get us all set up
This hotel is great. They are very personal when it comes to your stay. If you check in and say something nice they reach out to you and thank you. Staff is funny and friendly. Definitely coming back.
Went to the Roland Martin Marina and fishe with Gary Sapp, we had a great time and he put us on fish for two days! We shiner fished and fished artificial and caught a bunch of good bass! Ask for Gary! Also Mary Ann and the rest of the staff treated us great, just like family! I highly recommend going and taking a trip!
