I went to see one of their back specialists . I took him a mri of my mid back as I had been having problems. He gave me maybe 10 minutes of his time . Never looked at my back although looked at the mri I brought and told me there was nothing wrong with my back. Watch your bill! They added injections and steroids to my bill that I didn’t have. Will not be going back to this office. Not to mention I was waiting in the office for an hour after my appointment and they didn’t even tell me about the additional charge for the xrays. Don’t go here!
My son (11 year old) was referred here by memorial ortho trauma over 6 weeks ago. Was told to follow up if I hadn’t heard from them in a few days (the nature of his injury required prompt attention) Staff was rude and told me ‘they are still reviewing your file and will call you when they are done’ then hung up on me both times I called. We got a referral somewhere else and received great treatment, still have yet to hear from Bienville.
if your expecting prompt service AVOID this place. the drs and staff are nice enough. but it takes WAY TO LONG to get an appointment. when I broke my foot at the begining of the summer it took 3 weeks to get an appointment which is ok since I'm an adult. but now I'm trying to get an appointment for my 5 yesterday old son to have 2 broken bones in his arm set and cast. called twice today and still don't have an appointment set and I have a kid crying in pain.
I visited the gulfport office today as a new patient. My appointment was at 8:40am, so I arrived at 8:30am with all my paperwork in hand and ready to go. The first time I meet dr.leis he was very professional at taking time suggesting different option my daughter could do about hand pain but second visit he said there no point in trying do anything about her hand &the most unprofessional point of visit was him talking her at 17yr she know nothing about real pain. If he acted like this first time I meet him there's no way I would of went back &I would not recommend him to no one.
My husband had an appointment due to a car accident. We went in today to meet with Dr Tucker at the Cedar Lake office. We had some confusion at the front desk and between the level of unprofessionalism and rudeness of the front desk woman we walked out without being seen. We heard so much good about the doctors its unfortunate that the receptionist has such a bad attitude. We have no plans of ever returning.
In regards to follow up communication...On several occasions, I was advised I would receive a call back regarding setting up appointments, billing, and questions. I was patient enough to give ample time (at least a week) for a return call.
