Ciao this newly opened and locally owned Italian Restaurant at the Gaslamp District is truly amazing. The owner is very hands on and makes sure that his customers have a wonderful dining experience. The staff is attentive and the food is very authentic and delicious. The place is spacious and offers a pleasant ambiance. Parking is quite challenging in the district but you'll forget all that hassle once you're inside this restaurant. My family and I had a great dining experience. Grazie

Went to have dinner tonight with a very good friend to celebrate his engagement. The restaurant has recently been remodeled, with a new, upbeat and modern Italian vibe. Our food was amazing; calamari served with two dipping sauces and a side of fabulous bread, almost like thin sliced pizza. Then pasta amatriciana and branzino. The sauce on the pasta was light and enhanced with rich tomato. This complemented the branzino, served with lemon and sauce, but was so good we didn't need the sauce. Right when you walk in you are greeted by lovely staff, and a charming ambiance of Italian culture. Then it gets better... the food is amazing and the drinks are beautifully tasteful. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I 100% recommend Romanissimo for a lovely night out - whether it be with friends or a romantic evening.

oh my goodness! romanissimo gave me and my boyfriend the absolute best dining experience!! we love the ambiance, and the staff are all absolutely wonderful. we ordered the lobster ravioli and the lasagna and we devoured it. they also have a killer charcuterie board! recommending this restaurant to EVERYONE
