we had such a great birthday dinner celebrating my friend! amazing service and great food!!
My husband and I came here for the first time for my birthday! We were running a little late, but the team accommodated us as if we were family. Simi was our server, and her service was impeccable. Really the whole staff. We never had dirty dishes on our table, drinks were filled, and we were very happy with our visit. Not to mention, the food was truly exceptional. I had the carbonara and my husband had the lamb chops. Highly recommend, and we will be back with friends and family. Thank you, Simi and Team.

We went to Romanissimo to celebrate our dear girlfriend's 50th birthday. We had Francesco as our waiter and he totally made it an unforgettable evening. Dinner was delicious and drinks were great. The coffee martini was amazing - highly recommend them!!
Super attentive service and delicious food in the Gas Lamp quarter. Valentina is lovely, the carbonara is a must have as is the ricotta bruschetta! Great ambiance and music!
Food was great! Service is super quick and efficient as well. If you are looking for Italian food in the Gaslamp Quarter - this is one of the better ones.

The experience at Romanissimo was underwhelming and felt a bit gimmicky. We tried the pappardelle prepared in the torched cheese wheel--while the presentation was interesting, the taste was just "good" rather than amazing. The meat lasagna was very average and lacked any real depth of flavor. The pizza was the biggest disappointment; it felt like basic bread topped with sauce and a generic white cheese that just ran everywhere once cut.
