10/10 recommend!! The pasta? Chef's kiss (shout out to the chef!!!). The vibes? Perfect. But the real stars were Francesco, Valentina, and Simi seriously the best service ever. So friendly, attentive, and just overall amazing. They made the whole night even better!

My groups and I came to this restaurant for San Diego restaurant week. The food here did not disappoint us and the service from our waitress Simi was amazing as well. She checked on my table and was very helpful in describing the menu to us to fit the drinks and food we wanted to enjoy for the evening. She gave us great recommendations and provided and great experience. I will definitely be returning.
Valentina was our server and she was fantastic, she made our dinning experience wonderful from beginning to end. The food was delicious! Had an outside dinning table where was is nice a pleasant, a mellow quiet atmosphere to have a wonderful dinner.
Went to their new location and it was beautiful! The food was awesome just like across the street but the decor even nicer now. The Artichoke appetizer is to die for, the eggplant pesto one too. Great wine selection, attentive service. Would highly recommend for groups and couples.

While walking the GasLamp district to find a place to eat I saw a guy eating a great looking pizza. We kept walking several blocks to see what other options there were before deciding to head back to Romanissimo. We sat outside as it was decent weather that evening. The hostess was very friendly and let us know the pasta and pizza was all hand-made. Fabio was our waiter who provided outstanding service.
