Dinner and service were excellent. Staff "on point" with everything from greeting to bread service. Food was excellent and wait staff stayed on top of things without being bothersome. Your on line reservation option worked perfect for the Valentines Day rush. Thanks also for giving out to all of the women one long stem rose for Valentines Day! We general lounge at the bar area on weekends but now we'll start having dinner their. Thanks again for making our FIRST visit to the restaurant memorable.
Went there on Valentine's Day. We love their desserts (especially the bread pudding) and we ended up having just desserts that evening. The service is always excellent. The waiter remembered us from previous visits. The ladies got a beautiful rose at the end of the meal.
We went back to Roxy's because we have always enjoyed our experience, and wanted to duplicate that, of course. Reservations took us to our seat quickly on a very busy President's Day weekend with top entertainers in town. The waiter was great, the wine just fine, and the bacon/cheddar bread delicious. My husband and I ate here before a comedy show. The food was amazing!!! The service was good. I would highly recommend eating here.
The food and service were both top notch. The menu had a huge selection of tasty sounding dishes. I had one of the most delicious burgers of my life, as I usually dislike "fancy" restaurant burgers that are heavy and too over-loaded. We also had a cedar plank salmon that was gorgeous and also very good. The lobster escargot style is also an obvious no brainer for a good dish and it didn't disappoint. Roxy is our favorite special occasion restaurant. The food and service are always amazing, and they have an extensive wine and martini list. They also have a great piano bar that stays open late!! We love this place!!
We had the best steaks at the Roxy since we have moved to Reno over a year ago. Cooked perfectly, the meat was melt in your mouth tender. I know everything else was good, but those steaks just eclipsed everything else that we ate!
The food was good, but the service was not. We waited quite some time after we were seated at 7:15 PM before a waiter introduced himself and gave us a menu. We received our order in a reasonable amount of time, but the waiter never came back to check on us or to see if we wanted more wine, bread, etc. We did feel that each table should have had a basket of bread in lieu of the person walking around and asking if we wanted more bread. This is third time we have eaten at the Roxy and we have been very pleased each time. We have had different entrees each time and everything has always been excellent.. The Dover Sole is amazing!! as are the salads, soups and appetizers. Cant say enough good things about this restaurant. The service is always excellent too.
