What a wonderful experience. We had 10 for dinner. They sat us at a huge round table in our own area and it was great for conversation. Service was great and when we requested separate couple checks they were very acomodating. We had a show to attend so they were were mindful of our timing too. I would high recommend this wonderful place. It was everyone's first time there too so we'll all probably go back.

we were served the tomahawk 36 ounce steak and 2 lobster tails for 2 people by the chef, Chef Hess, winner of Hells Kitchen.......loved the food, and his coming out to explain his tomahawk dinner creation......will go every time we are in town.
I love dining at the Roxy... we usually have a great experience but I think it is because we usually sit in the wine room. We sat near the kitchen area where the room has tiled floors and a rounded ceiling... it was not a great experience. We could hardly hear each other and the ambience was far from good. Now, the food and service on the other hand is always AMAZING.
We have always liked this venue, and usually enjoyed the food. While the food was good on this last visit, maybe we were expecting more. The halibut was not a dish that we would order again. It did not taste fresh & was kind of dry. The filet was cooked perfectly, but I was disappointed in the blue cheese topping it. The sauce & blue cheese did not accompany as well as I had hoped. Roxy is the best go-to spot in Reno for a quality steak and a tasty cocktail. It's a perfect location for a special dinner - anniversary, birthday, or a special just because. The service is top-notch, and the food perfect. The candle-lit ambiance is fabulous, especially in the corner wine cellar. There is a little more noise than some high-end steak houses, but considering the restaurant is smack-dab in the middle of a casino, I think it's actually more surprising how well they've muted the noise than how much filters throug... read more
Albert was very awesome, he is an excellent Waiter!!!! We will request him when we return!!!
The food quality was amazing. The Roxy bar and lounge had great Martinis. My favorite was the chocolate Martini.
We went to Hot August Nights and decided to splurge at this restaurant we'd heard so much about. It was superb. The atmosphere is romantic and the service terrific. The food and wine pairings were top flight. Glad we went and will certainly be back!
