The food is excellent and the atmosphere appealing. Their early bird special (5-6, Sun-Thurs) is a very good value.
My Sweetheart and I were completey taken by Roxy; we sat down with a beautiful setting, the piano in the bar was audible with the performer being an excellent choice--our server Stephen was brilliant. He was always there when I needed him, but he left a lot of time in between so my Love and I could speak and enjoy each other's company. Food was tasty and well presented. The service was excellent.
The waiter did not seem to care for us after we order a bottle of wine($65,00) until it was time to give us the bill and turn the table, but he did say they were busy and had over 500 reservation for the night. The food was good but I would not good back on a holiday I think they care more about getting people in and out and as a local I would not tell out of town guest to go their on a holiday.
The hosts are friendly and cheerful even in the face of a horrendous line. The Roxy was completely sold out for New Years Eve. The service was very slow. We did not even see our waiter for 1/2 hour. When we were able to order, my husband ordered the fillet Minton and our waiter said they were out. This was disappointing and should have been told to us when seated at the table. Excellent food and service! Keeps us coming back. You will not be disappointed with any food choice! Excellent meats, salads and the soufflé is amazing!
