Caring and knowledgeable staff make this the best veterinary clinic I've ever used in Tucson, and I've lived here for 25 years! I have two cats, and on the rare occasions I need to take them to the vet, the staff always makes them feel comfortable and loved. The stress level for my pets and myself is greatly reduced by not having to wait in the reception area. We are usually conducted almost immediately to an examination room to wait for the doctor. They are absolutely amazing! I took my cat in for a check up and her shots. She was a feral cat until I rescued her about a year ago, and they were so gentle with her. She didn't even get upset. They brought her food and pet her while they administered the needles. They also sent me home with handouts on how to introduce her to the new puppy we got. I'm so happy that I took her here. They even emailed me later to check up on her. It's so welcoming and everyone is so lovely. I'll recommend this vet to everyone!

We moved to Tucson and needed to take our cat to a vet right away; he had panicked during the road trip from our old home to the new one, and this had made some of his existing medical conditions worse. The office is conveniently located and the staff is professional and polite. Both the vet techs and the vet that have seen our cat were helpful, answered all of my questions, and were sympathetic. I highly recommend the office!

We discovered this clinic--Dr. Andy Carlton and his excellent staff--when we moved to Tucson 23 years ago. He has provided excellent care for each of our previous dogs. The first, who moved with us to Tucson, lived to be about 17. The second, a rescued stray, survived several years into renal failure--plus, during that time, recovered from a severe infection following a life-threatening attack by a neighbor's large dog. Marvelous veterinary clinic - great staff (all very caring) and wonderful doctor (Dr. Andy Carlton). Rums has been going to the same vet now for several years and the care and follow up are fabulous. I highly recommend Sahuaro Vista Veterinary Clinic!

This vet is amazing! My husband and I were visiting the area with our dogs and one of them injured their eye while we were in town. I did a quick search and came across Sahuaro Vista Vet Clinic and I am so glad I did. I was able to make a same day appointment and we got into to see Dr. Carlton. We left with some eye drops and when those weren't working they were willing to call in a new prescription to a pharmacy in the town we were visiting next. CJ has been going to Sahuaro Vista since he was about 8 weeks old he just turned 10 years old, We would not take him any where else and although he seems to prefer Dr Carlton the other vets that have seen him are great too as well as the rest of the staff.

We have been bringing our dogs to Sahuaro since the 1980s. Dr. Carlton has always been the vet for out pets. He is very knowledgeable and always takes the time to explain things and answer questions. He has helped us make difficult decisions regarding putting our dog down and we are very grateful. Most recently, I dropped into the clinic unannounced with our newly adopted dog, Daisy to get her acquainted with the office and schedule a vaccine.
