Andy Carlton has been our veterinarian for 20 years. He has seen us through the ups and downs with each of our pets and has been exceedingly compassionate during those times of "that very difficult decision". Dr. Carlton is fantastic. Very helpful, caring and explains everything. Our foster Chihuahua ate stuffing from her toy. She is 3 lbs. and had to be seen several times for blockage and throwing up. Dr. Carlton fit us into his schedule and was terrific explaining everything to us. I have been going to this clinic for many years with my other dogs. I would not go anywhere else. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Best veterinary care in Tucson! Everyone is so helpful and kind every time we go there. The Dr.s are both wonderful and I would happily recommend either of them. I just love going as it his clinic has such a nice, homey feel to it - not so corporate like some of them where you just feel like a number.

I found out about Dr. Carlton from my neighbor 14 years ago and continue to receive excellent care for my 4-legged "babies". I searched for a long time before I came here, and boy did we see some strange offices. Everyone is knowledgeable, courteous, helpful, concerned and interested in my "babies". My 2 current "babies" are learning to walk into the office on their own with no fear, so I know they are receiving a gentle touch and loving care even when I'm out of their sight! We have taken our dogs here for over a decade. Of course over the years we have experienced well checks as well as illnesses and injuries and the loss of a pet. Dr. Carlton has been absolutely amazing through all of it. He is down to earth and reasonable. He has helped us get through some really difficult and complicated health issues with our dogs with an incredible amount of compassion and understanding as well as making an effort to do it in a way that was as cost effective as possible. My family and I have been taking our dogs to Andy since we moved to Tucson. It's been almost two decades of trusting our pets with Dr Carlton and his staff. Every chance we get we sing his praises. He is simply one of (if not the most) honest vet in this city. Andy has always been very upfront with me about the cost of treatment, testing, prescriptions, etc so that I can make the right decision financially and for the well being of my dogs. Sahuaro Vista is a great vet clinic! I've been taking my boxer/Boston terrier mix there since he was a puppy. The staff is friendly and Dr. Carlton is always nice and helpful with any questions I may have. From the skin issues Domino had as baby to patching him up from rough housing, I can always trust SV as a place to take my pup.

I have been taking my pets (currently 7 dogs 4 cats 1 rabbit) to Sahuaro Vista for nearly 23 years. I moved here from LA in 1990. It was as important to me to find a good vet as it was to find a pediatrician for my children. I got their name by chance from the person at the film developing booth. When I met Dr. Carlton I immediately felt like he was a vet I could communicate with and would feel comfortable having treat my dogs and cats. I had been a vet tech in LA and had known a few vets.
