Got good service from Shawna our server and recommend the soup of the day and the excellent dessert.
The food was good but we weren't blown away by it, the steak was good, the crusted halibut had a good texture but lacked flavor. Found the wine list a bit over priced. Our server was very nice.
Everything that we had ordered on the menu was really good, I highly recommend this restaurant. Also the restaurant is kid friend. One of my friends had to bring her 1 year old and they were great with her.
We went to Saltlik for Valentine's Day dinner. My husband had a lamb dish that was on special, and I had the halibut. Both dishes were fine, but not fantastic or memorable. (To be fair, I understand that we were at a steak place and neither of us had steak.) The sticky toffee pudding we had for dessert was delicious, though! We practically licked the plate. Best Steak I have ever had the joy of eating. Every bite was better than the last. The Blue cheese wedge salad was refreshing, the Lobster potato skins were scrumptious. Will definitely go back!
Although we had to send the steak back, the new one we were served was very good. Also the manager took it off the bill which was nice. I would definitely come back, uostairs was very quiet and romantic.
Food was both cooked and presented well. Waiter was attentive without being obtrusive.
Great spot for before theatre dining.
Nobody can beat their skinny fries! And they have the BEST hamburger. It's worth passing on a steak just to have the burger.
