They always have the reeds I need for my son's sax and clarinet. And they know what they are talking about. Best music store hands down.
Seems like Indy has made the switch when it comes to corporate retailing for musical items. Is this happening in other cities? Guitar Center is not a bad spot at all but Sam Ash seems to be way more connected with the scene here and the used gear selection is 10 times larger over here. James Coffee needs a raise! thanks for yalls patience and genuine attitudes
Eric is a great drum instructor & true professional. Our son is greatly benefitting from his instruction and expectations. Our son has had lessons elsewhere, but I rate this a few steps above the rest.

Hey y'all! Just wanted to say a few words (OK, write a novel)about Castleton IN location. I got my beloved tenor sax refurbished last year. I went to pick her up and she still wasnt playing right, the original reason I brought it in. My g# and f# were way wonky. The guy there told me that they don't necessarily put them in perfect playing condition and treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about because he had "played it himself"and it seemed fine. We stopped by on our way home from vacation & were excited to find such a hidden jewel! I am a worship leader & music teacher in Elkhart, IN, & most local music shops have closed down. You can’t find single sheet music anywhere near us & I was happy to see it still exists at Sam Ash! Good prices, friendly staff, good selection of instruments, accessories, & music (plus the teacher’s discount was very nice!). We will tell our friends & come back again when we are down this way! :)
