Was looking for one of Yamaha's new arranger keyboards. Sam Ash was the only one that had it. Service was good. The sales person let me play with it for awhile, which I appreciated. I needed to make sure it had all I was looking for. Very good experience. Not pressured to buy.
Love this store. Know almost everyone on a first name basis. Trust my guitars to JJ! Good selection and what they don't have they'll get. Mostly enjoy the positive energy.
We had a clarinet repaired at Sam Ash in Melville, NY. Great experience, done well, done in a timely manner and for a good price. Even the orchestra teacher who has been teaching an playing for 60 years thought it was a great job at a reasonable price.
Great selection of guitars and some outstanding deals on closeout or last years models. The 36 month zero interest option can be a great thing. You can get that $2000 ax and pay around $50/month (how many of us spend that on coffee). Very friendly, not pushy, knowledgeable, relaxed atmosphere. I'm done with Guitar Center...
