Something about this place did not feel right. I immediately got a bad feeling when walking in. The place SMELLS horrible and the animal areas were not clean at all! Especially the poor sting ray areas. This place is hardly an aquarium there were more land animals than aquatic, it was the weirdest experience. Most of them looked so sad and there was no space for most of the animals. Most of the cages were over crowded. You could literally pet fish? How and why would you let children pet fish? Overall it was horrible I fe... read more

This place was ok, with the kids being stuck in the house so much lately it was good to get out for a little while. It's smaller than what I expected two hours is more than enough time to enjoy the entire place. I was impressed at the selection of small animals they had, all the different types of Lemurs were so cute! The crocodiles, stingrays and etc. I really like that it's pretty intimate, you have a better opportunity to interact with the animals. You can buy tokens to feed some of the animals and the fish. You can touch... read more

I'm going to start by saying that I love aquariums and have been lucky enough to visit many throughout the states. This place took me an hour to walk through the entire thing. Was dirty, empty, and I honestly felt bad for the animals. There is a large arcade in the middle of the the aquarium... interesting. Clearly not an aquarium with a goal of educating about conservation. (I mean, there were barely any signs explains what animal was inside each enclosure) There were no employees watching over the touch tanks which I belie... read more

Don't waste your money. Lame excuse for an aquarium. I wouldn't come back even pre pandemic.

Although this aquarium is small it is well run and the animals seem to be well taken care of. We were able to use a groupon which was nice to save us some money. They let us know that we could purchase food inside to feed some of the animals which was fun. We did that got to feed and pet the stingrays, Koi fish, a turtle and an alpaca. I wish I had done the Koi walk where you get to walk in a koi pond. A brave little boy did that. I would go back and would recommend for anyone looking for something to do in San Antonio.

My son and I had a great time attending this venue. Glad that I saw a Groupon for this location, otherwise, don't think we would have attended it. Small and limited. Friendly and young staff, a varieties of fish and other animals. Touching the stingrays for the first time were our highlights.

Waisted $70 and an hour on this sad excuse of an aquarium. This is like Tiger King meets fish in the worst way possible. Nasty water in all the tanks, horrible smell that should have been a warning from the entry door. Don't make my mistake, this place looks great on the website but it is no where close to being a nice aquarium.

this was definitely worth the price! the workers were extremely friendly, they knew a lot about the animals. we got to interact with a lot of different animals. i don't know why this has a lot of poor reviews. i would come back for sure!

I'm shocked this place doesn't have a higher rating. My kids had a blast here yesterday. It doesn't look like much on the outside but it's fairly large and the assortment of animals (especially those you can touch) is pretty vast. They even have a porcupine! A few exhibits and games were closed due to COVID but it was our first time so we didn't know what we were missing. Other pros included the staff friendliness, the stingray tank and the ostrich! The only downside to this place is that you have to exit through the gift sh... read more
