Came here because it was included in my Pogo pass and it has been a long time since I have been to an aquarium. This place is nice. It is small but I thought they did a good job of highlighting the animals/sea life. The staff were alright, though I would not call them friendly. They have a lot of kid activities and bouncy houses. I traveled solo today and enjoyed my time her but would not come back unless I had children with me. Most of the fun activities cost extra $$.

I do no recommend this Aquarium. We drove about 3 hours from Mexico only to see the Octopus they promote in their website, but when we arrived they staff at the aquarium said they don't have an octopus anymore! (still do in the webpage, even after I complained this weekend. In their webpage in Facebook they don't mention anything about not having an octopus anymore)I feel this is very dishonest publicity , our kids were very sad and disappointed. But we were already there, so we enter. Tickets are expensive (18 adults and 13... read more

This place is located off the freeway, pay attention or you will miss it. We were able to use a groupon for admission and it helped offset the cost of the tokens, which seems to be the most expensive thing here. The place itself is a little worn could use an upgrade, I was most excited to have the interaction with the Kangaroo only to find out that the outside area is closed due to COVID. I really think that they should update the website to give that information before making the decision to drive over. All other exhibits t... read more

This is a great place to take families. There is a lot to see and do at the aquarium. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I suggest to any parent looking to have their kids get up close and personal with lots of different wildlife.

I would give no stars if it weren't for the staff attempting to make the most of what they view as a job. My family just relocated to San Antonio and decided to visit the Aquarium. It was horrifying. My husband saw a jelly that was trapped by a filter and died. The animals are crammed inside cages that are too small for them. And the cages were filthy. We weren't alone in these thoughts if you read the rest of these comments.

I give this place negative stars. It's awful! I'm disappointed in myself for giving money to them...the animals look miserable. The setting is that of an old grocery store not an environment appropriate for living animals. Made a four hour trip for the aquarium and zoo and I am extremely disappointed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT COMING HERE. We spent leas than 5 minutes inside before leaving, and I left in tears because it was so upset. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS INSTITUTION. There is no way that are properly taking care of the a... read more

I fully understand the low rating and comments once we arrived and went through. This shouldn't be called an aquarium. It seemed more like a place that someone who likes to collect various animals owns. There were far more land animals than water creatures. Overall weird experience and odd setup. Staff was extremely nice and helpful.
