As first time goers to this restaurant ,we expected a seafood oriented theme for a restaurant called Sandbar. However, only the decor carried through with the nautical vibe. The menu is limited and the drinks a bit pricey. Two glasses of wine ran about 26 dollars on the less expensive end. The restaurant locale attracted more of an upscale suit and tie crowd . It was hard talking since it tends to get very noisy when the place fills up and there is nothing to mute the acoustics.
Fantastic restaurant with a beautiful interior. Very fresh produce, seafood and meats. Great energy as the restaurant and bar area were packed. Enjoy the milk and cookie for dessert!
Very noisy, limited food choices, expensive. Pretty room. Maitre'd not happy when we said the salmon was tasteless. He remarked that they just put it on the menu for people who are not eaters. We do enjoy good food.

A spanking new building in the middle of the old whaling village of Cold Spring Harbor is home to a restaurant worthy of a special trip. An attentive wait staff added to the pleasant dinner experience, but the true stars were the food and the presentation.
