Have been here before and enjoyed. This time, not as much. Had the crab cake which had way to many (and too large) pieces of green and red peppers. Halibut portion was small. Cheese on lobster pasta?? Just a few things that made us think twice.

Was our first time at Sandbar and we will definitely be back. First, the waitstaff were exceptional. Juan and the other two waitstaff were great. Martini’s were very good and served with iced buckets and mini carafes to keep chilled. Definitely a nice touch. The food was very good. We had oysters and duck tacos for starters. Cacio e Pepe as a second course, which we shared and our entrees were Fish and Chips and a scallop with apricot glaze and couscous. All were excellent. Atmosphere very pretty. All in all a wonderful nigh... read more

Great ambience and service but food was mediocre. Crab cakes, sandbar salad, and bread &butter were very good, but the sliders (a special) were bone dry and the cacio e pepe was over cooked and dripping in grease. Service was very good. I’d consider going back once more to try a couple other dishes because I think it has potential, but we were overall a little let down with the food.

The service was very slow & the noise was terrible. That being said, the food was great & the staff couldn’t be nicer & very apologetic.
