From the appetizers, entrees and dessert Sandbar turns out delicious food. The drinks menu and wine list were excellent and well priced. The service was very professional and available when needed. The mussels appetizer was in a tasty broth and meatballs appetizer were better than my own. I had the pistachio crusted red snapper and it was fresh and flavorful. My wife had the swordfish. It was cooked perfectly and a large portion. The deconstructed s’mores dessert was a home run. We can’t wait to go back.

Overall, a very nice place which fits in with the charm of Cold Spring Harbor. Food was good but would like to see a few more menu choices.

Food, service, ambiance above average. Chickpea fries were a good way to start - flavorful and creamy. Swordfish main a bit overcooked, tagliatelle main very good. Service friendly and efficient. Prices very reasonable. Room not noisy at all - some reviews have mentioned the loud noisy level - main dining room about 1/3 full when we arrived, 2/3 full when we left. Will return to this restaurant again in quiet little Cold Spring Harbor.
A lovely restaurant with excellent food located in the quaint little village of Cold Spring Harbor. I was very impressed that they were able to accommodate us, even though we were about 15 minutes early on a saturday night. The only knock, and its very minor, is that the restaurant felt a little understaffed to give that truly elevated experience. But like I said, its a super minor observation. Oysters are excellent. Really loved the Red Snapper.
The menu was great, and the food did not disappoint.
My husband and I and our daughter had a delightful dinner there for my birthday. This is the 4th time we have been here and it has never disappointed- our waiter was very attentive and professional. The food was delicious! My daughter and. I had the fish tacos and split the chick pea firies and my husband had the salmon and a shrimp cocktail appetizer- all was Delicious! I highly recommend!
