We went to Sandbar for Restaurant Week and to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We were not disappointed. The mussel appetizer was ranked # 1 for the evening, but everything was good. Our table had cod, salmon and the pork entree. All very good. Desserts excellent also. I liked that the menu was diverse and included items off of their regular menu, so I know I was getting a good value. Our first visit in awhile because of Covid. Still the same great restaurant!. The raw clams were among the best I ever ate. Ice cold. meaty and very fresh! Can'y wait to return
Sandbar Granville island vancouver was terrific. We hadn’t dined there is more than a decade. Definitely will put it back on our list of places to go. Dine out menu was delicious.
Love the ambiance. And was greeted warmly by whole staff. Experience fell a little short with food. Fish was seasoned well, but over cooked. Risotto was colorful, yet had no taste. I worked with chefs for years and in the gourmet field. The chickpea fries are heavenly. And dessert and coffee were delicious. Our server, Jacqueline was lovely and went out of her way to take a photo of us for a Birthday!
