Always helpful and informative. All of the staff treat your furbabies like they are their own. Doctors, nurses, and front desk are more then willing to get on the floor and interact with them. Very happy that I had fun this location when I had moved down. It's hard to find a vet that takes your concerns and care of your animals as seriously as you do, but they are willing to go above and beyond. Love the entire staff here. My baby has had allergy issues, knee issues, and even mast cell cancer and with every visit we feel more and more comfortable with the care our baby is getting. They exhibit both knowledge and care with each and every issue we've encountered with our pup.

The veterinarians are very knowledgeable and caring. When I had to say good-bye to my dear, sweet kitty, Dr. Penrod was sensitive to my grieving, empathized with me, and gave me as much time as I needed.

We moved to the Sangaree area 4 years ago and selected Sangaree Animal Hospital, as it wasn't far from our home. I was over the moon when I realized how well my animals were going to be treated here. We generally see Dr. Graham (sometimes Dr. McGinn) for our dogs, one of whom passed last year. Our dog Simon, had a rare form of thyroid disease which caused cancer and Dr. Graham was phenomenal, not only with dealing with Simon, but also with me. From my first Great Dane and the other pets along the years, I couldn't be more satisfied with the professional and compassionate personal experience I've received. They are not only affordable but have two locations that are wonderful. Dr.McGinnis and Lucy I just love. I always request Lucy and ask to book where she will be working. She's dealt with the good, the bad and the ugly. She will always share a deep place in my heart. My Dane is my baby and wouldn't put the love of my life in anybody else's care. Xoxoxo

There is only one place we bring our beloved pet and that would be at Sangree Animal Hospital. The staff here are all polite, smiling and really seem to care about their jobs. Its always very in and out , (which is great when you have a 125lb lab that loves to lick and explore). If you are new in town and looking to try a great Vet, this is the spot.

Excellent, caring, professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff, from the front desk, to the techs to the vets. So far I have not had to wait very far past my appointment time to be ssen, which is huge for me. They are more expensive than other local vets, but so far worth it. I was a little disappointed that I spent over $100 on services and they still charged me $18 to clip my dogs nails. She is a very, very easy going dog and it took them less than 3 minutes. I just recently moved here and was afraid I wasn't going to find a vet like my one back home and I have! They were great with my dog who is my baby and treated him as if he were their own. The doctor even got on the floor with him because he was scared, that was so sweet of him!

I adopted a cat with thyroid ailment from Charleston Animal Society last April and they gave me the recommendation for Sangaree Animal Hospital, I use the Main Street location. I have taken Rusty there for this past year and have no complaints. Dr. Graham has called me himself to explain medication tweeks to get Rusty's thyroid just right. I was just there again recently for his yearly check up and all is well. They never rush and take their time to explain things to this non-medical person where I understand everything.... read more
