If there was a way to give no stars I would I want to have my dog seen because I woke up and his ear was swollen and the would not seen him by way of not accepting any new clients like really it felt the Rachel just was not trying to be bothered to her job
Facebook brought up a memory of me and my little man Gizmo at Santa Clara Pet Hospital from 2015. It has been awhile / but the anger remains regarding his treatment at this vet. As Dr. Littlehale is still practicing, seemed responsible to share our experience. Over the course of a year, Gizmo had a few health issues. I don't really know what to say about this place! All I know is, I had hoped this would be the last place to take my dog as I've tried three others and have spent thousands of dollars and haven't got any real diognosis and especially no results! My dog has a throbbing/surge in his stomach and gags/coughs! Another vet says heart murmur but, this one says it's very minor but, detected an enlarged liver! Suggested different diet to lose weight. This place is such a joke! Our rabbit is still not treated, and wasted an hour of our life for nothing. We came to the appointment only to learn that the vet working there today doesn't see rabbits, despite knowing we have a rabbit when we called for the appointment. Oh, and the earliest next appointment is in 5 days!
IRRESPONSIBLE VET I have ever seen. Took my dog here for a visit and every question I asked the only answer I got is "I dont know" from Dr Littlehale. We could have got what my dog has by simply googling instead of paying a lot money for a visit with "I dont know". Now my dog's symptoms arent treated and he told us to find another vet to treat my dog's eyes since he doesnt know the reason why my dog got cholesterol deposit. How can a person who owns 2 dogs and 2 cats and a pet hospital be this irresponsible?

Beanie- The doctor tried to assure you that the small spot on the eye was a benign lesion. Additional testing was normal and once again was reassuring as to nothing serious. Everything appeared benign. Since you still had concerns and questions we could not answer, we referred you to an eye specialist. A general practitioner cannot be expected to know everything, that is why we have specialists as resources.
One of the worst vet experiences I've ever had. Took my dog here to get teeth cleaned and they charged 1K. Seemed higher than other places, but reviews were good. After I got my dog back, noticed she had a limp, but nurse said she'd recover by morning. It's been 3 days and she hasn't recovered and every time I call I'm put on hold! When I finally get through and ask if they can do anything, they have the audacity to say I'm not in their system anymore and nothing they can do. Never bringing my dog here again

Terrible. When our dog was released from the hospital, we turned to Dr. Piert. First, he didn't let us go in with our dog -- who does this when a dog is in critical condition? Secondly, he told us that our dog was fine. He passed away just two days later. In fact, a day after the visit, and one day before our dog's death, Dr. Piert said his blood report was OK, when it was actually concerning! This place also does not provide radiologist reports. They misdiagnosed our dog's lung condition. AVOID this place at all costs.

I think you may be referring to another clinic. Dr. Piert did not perform any blood tests or radiographs on your pet. Also we allow owners in the clinic with their pets for the examination. I am very sorry for your loss. Julie
Do not take your pet here. I paid $90 for a check up over the phone when making an appointment was which was unusual. Anyways I took my cat here who was obviously in so much pain that he wouldn't let me touch him and could barely move. Dr. Little saw him for about 5 minutes felt around for a bit and sent me home saying he was fine and probably just needed time to feel better after falling from a height or getting in a cat fight. On the exam there was NO EVIDENCE of a cat bite or abscess. The cat was behaving normally and showed no sign of pain or discomfort during the exam. Since the cat routinely went outside there was a number of possible issues, including a soft tissue injury, most of which would resolve naturally over time. This place seems unfriendly and unreasonable. Also not very informal when it comes to what's going on. I found a very skinny kitten, and when I took him in, they didn't even tell me anything. Just charged me. They also charged me for a carrier box although they didn't notify me in advance. I don't own cats but if they told me in advance, I could've borrowed someone's carrier.
