Santa Clara pet hostpital has recently become a money making machine, which does not care about animals at all. The doctors prioritize squeezing the most money from the patients. I brought my German shepherd here for some diagnosis. The doctor simply ordered around 600$ worth of tests, and in the end did not find the cause of the issue. I finally took my pet to a different clinic who diagnosed the issue easily. We found that tests done by the doctor here was both unnecessary and expensive.

After ten years, ten years I am forced to find a new Dr for my fur babies. They refused to trim Rufus' nails today because he was a week late for his annual check-up. ONE WEEK. The management clearly does not care. Dr Piert cared for my beloved Kiede, then Rufus and Kidd, but this situation leaves me no other option but to NOT RETURN. . I am saddened to learn that the staff cares nothing for my babies-- even after all of these years. They are unbending and cold. "Policy over care" is the new motto.

After the same vet nearly killed my two pets, I'm out of here. First, my cat has high blood pressure and the vet didn't prescribe the needed medication but just the med for clotting prevention. When we caught it, my cat's blood pressure went up to 230. I came to the wrong medication realization after taking my cat to our eye specialist and found out the last 3 or 4 months my cat didn't have the right medication. We have been visiting this place several years. Not sure what happened to this hospital, but we ran into traffic and are a bit late for our appointment, they said need us to reschedule. Come on we drove 20min here and this is how you treat customer? We've all been late seeing doctors and worst case just need to wait a bit for doctor to have time to see us. So disappointed. Will never come back again

Please improve the scheduling process. I take my two rabbits here and one of them has been suffering from an infection and this is another visit for the same infection and I waited three days for this appointment. I took time off of work and I show up and they tell me that they have her scheduled down as a cat or a dog and there's no rabbit doctor on site that can see her today and we needed to reschedule her another 4 days out.... I called on 4/13/24 and made an appointment for 4/17/24 at 6:20 p.m for my rabbit that is in need of pinworm treatment, but I got stuck in traffic while on my way there and I called to let them know that I was gonna be 10 mins late due to heavy traffic and they told me because they close at 6:30 p.m they need to reschedule my appointment per doctor request, I said I'm almost there and I'll definitely arrive by 6:30 and this is not a general check up my bunny has pinworms and needs treatment as soon as possible, no they insis... read more

Had to leave the clinic after taking my animals here for over 15 years. I needed a bandage changed - on a dog they have seen and done x-rays on. Was told I had to see the vet first- then come back another day for the bandage change. When I complained- the gal didn't seem to care. When I told her I would probably take my animals (4) to another clinic - she said thank you and hung up on me. Apparently they don't care about long term clients or customer service. And they are VERY expensive- just so you know.
