Friendly staff, great doctor. Location is good. Area for your dog to use the bathroom before going in. Price was reasonable. Really glad I found this place.
Quick service and the nicest front desk/techs/vets ever! So glad I made the switch to this vet. They're willing to literally get down on their hands and knees for my dog and were very transparent about prices during my first time there. Shout out to Dr. Gregory and Dori at the front desk for being angels to my pup Milo! Love love LOVE them!!!
We had a Maltese who we took here for five years. Always kind and easy to get an appointment. We had to put him down two weeks ago and the end of life care that our dog received was full of kindness, patience, and deep respect. I cannot express what gratitude we have with the way they treated him and us with dignity. They were so kind. We love that it was always clean, professional, and knowledgeable. Thank you to Dr. Gregory and staff.
I love our neighborhood Santa Clara Pet Hospital! Our hotot bunny, named Kiwi is a healthy 6 year-old because of SCPH and Dr Lawrence! So, Kiwi started crazy-sneezing a month ago and we just hoped that it was a little irritant in her nose. But after four weeks of hearing and seeing sneezes shake this little bunny's body, we brought her back to see Dr Lawrence, yesterday (3/31/25). The staff and doctors are all excellent. They take their time and you can tell they love and care about their patients. Highly recommended. We have been clients for at least 20 years. Our Australian Shepherds actually love to visit.

Six years later and I still love Santa Clara Pet Hospital. I'm still not over how compassionate all of the staff are when they have to deal with my highly anxious dog when tranqs don't work. I had yet another request for a last minute appointment because my dog has been having mobility issues. They're always accommodating and are able to book an appointment within a day or two. Generally good care here in my 4 years of patronage for my German shepherd but seem to be engaging in some price padding lately. Case in point they charged me $50 (on top of the visit fee and another $50 for some generic antibiotics) for 2 min needed to redo a small bandage I'd already done (and clearly could have re done) after taking it off for the exam. We visited this place for our cat twice, once for teeth extraction, second time for vomit and dehydration, both time the doctor was very professional and patient, took the necessary procedures and cat got better after both occasions. Pricing is reasonable. We do feel like we trust this place more than some other vet hospitals we visited. Downside is that it is very popular and hard to schedule, so for anything urgent we usually have to try somewhere else unless we get really lucky.
This was, by far, the smoothest vet visit we've ever had. For a bit of back story, we took our 6 year old pup to his usual VCA location to get checked out for a hot spot on his paw and ear infection. That visit was over an hour long and we were way overcharged for his visit- exam fee, tests, and medications all came out to just under $900. Our older dog got a similar hotspot on one of his paws and we decided to take him somewhere closer to our new apartment, which happened to be SC Pet Hospital.
