This is absolutely the very best clinic anywhere for your fur babies. Their compassion, medical knowledge, love of animals, and kindness to their clients is beyond excellent.

A few months ago my 6 y/o pug mix had an allergic reaction. My mom, who is a registered nurse but definitely not an animal expert, suggested I give her Benadryl. I called Santa Clara Pet Hospital to explain the situation and ask if I should bring her in because her hives and difficulty breathing weren't going away. They asked me several questions, consulted with the vet, and ultimately left the decision up to me. Shortly after the call ended, the medication kicked. I had a great experience as a new customer there. Took my 12 week puppy for her first vet visit and was impressed with how they were handling business safety during the pandemic. The vet, Dr. Little, came to greet my puppy in person and addressed all concerns. Although my puppy had only been outside in my fenced in yard, she has some parasites which was detected early. My little dog Chispita has been a patient here for years. We have had other pets come to Santa Clara Pet Hospital as well through the years. We have always had good care there for our Fur Babies. The doctors are really caring and even follow up up with a phone call to check on your pet if they are sick or had a procedure. Chispita just had a Dental cleaning and 8 teeth extracted.Shes 10 and had some bad teeth. She did well and Dr Littlehale followed up with a call the next day to ask how she was doing. This review follows my first visit here, so is based on just the one experience but that was very positive so I wanted to share that. My husband and I recently moved nearby and brought our elderly kitties here for tests and treatment of chronic & age related conditions. I was told on the phone that they would fetch the cats from the car but when I got there I was told I actually was supposed to carry them and then stand up while talking to the vet. Highly recommend. Not many clinics treating guinea pigs and even with all the COVID precautions they were super helpful in an emergency situation. Thank you!

The staff was very friendly, even with the current measures/precautions in place for covid-19 the visit was very easy, they got us in and out quickly, the doctor explained everything, the staff was very friendly. I'm very happy I found them.

Recently made a same-day appointment here since I was worried about my cat. They were the only place where my phone call was answered promptly and I did not get put on hold for a long while (I had called 3 pet hospital). The staff here were nice on the phone & the interactions I've had with them in person was pleasant. They were very patient with my questions and reassured me that my cat is healthy. They do charge a deposit upon appointment reservation though. I don't recall having to do that for other places.

Our cat Sami had a very serious injury, the emergency clinic were ready to amputate her tail. Thankfully, we asked if we could have the surgery done by our own vet, Dr Little hale from the SC Pet hospital. He surprised us by making a cautious that the tail could possibly be saved. Three weeks later, our beloved kitty has no more bandages. Sami is prouly wagging her beautiful tail and we couldn't be more thankful to the whole team.
