Bad staff The leasing staff does not care about the tenants. Service requests are not worked in a timely fashion. I had no air conditioning for over a week and they offered no compensation or any resolution. Worst experience ever! I would not recommend this place to anyone ever!
Do not live here! First off I moved in almost a year ago and so many things were broken. I didn’t have a washer and dryer for months and was told that my request wasn’t that important. Water came out of my wall in the utility closest and was told it was the upstairs drip pan over flowed. Maintenace also told me the seals on my windows were broken but scandia won’t do anything because they’d have to replace a lot of windows. So my apartment let’s air in. Management lies and does not care about your safety. Do not ignore all these poor reviews! THE WATER HEATER CAUGHT ON FIRE & BURNED THROUGH THE DOOR IN MY APARTMENT. There was smoke everywhere & large flames. The flame was put out with a wet towel as they have looked the other way as far as putting fire extinguishers in each unit!! Quickly called 911 as we weren't sure if the fire would flame up again. Maintenance once again simply did a quick fix on the water heater. DO NOT LIVE HERE Literally the worst place. Do not bother looking here for a community, they're basically scammers and will lie constantly. Website and staff are very misleading about the units. Staff is VERY rude and condescending when you try and address any issues with them. They will dismiss issues and view them as inconsequential. Do not ignore the bad reviews..... they are all true for this place. When I was researching apartments in the Indianapolis Area I found Scandia apartments. The apartments are quite spacious and upgraded and the rent is reasonable. When inquiring to the leasing manager about all the negative reviews about the property she said that all apartments have negative reviews and it's usually just irrational tenants. Despite my better judgement I accepted her reasoning and went ahead and rented with Scandia and boy am I regretting it... read more
Decent apartments, lousy maintenance Overall, I would say Scandia apartments were average for what you get for the price. The only thing was that almost all of our appliances broke and our apartment needed regular maintenance however maintenance response to requests were terrible! We had to wait two weeks in the summer with a broken AC and also a couple months for our dishwasher.
