Fix broken pipe. I had already identified the location of the leak and dug up around it to make it easier to work on. Josh from Scarborough Plumbing attended that day. He was friendly and explained the various ways to fix the pipe and the best way which would be better for us in the long run. He was quick with the work and the finished work was clean. Exchanged a part in the shower faucet that was causing hot water pressure to be very low, check overall water pressure for the house. We'll when we built this house we purchased a Price Pfister faucet for that shower because my wife liked the design, little did we know that their systems are DIFFERENT, so now we bought a Delta one to replace, but upon arriving he explained that he would have cut a hole in the drywall on other side of shower to change the connections to fit the Delta, but he also gave us the option to replace... read more

He changed the leaking faucets in my laundry room, since he was in the premises he also reviewed and fixed all the faucets in my four bathrooms. He also checked the condensation of my air conditioning unit. He worked with a helper and he had the precise spare parts for fixing the faucets without replacing them. inspected and replaced corroded pipes under kitchen sink. cleaned drain lines to bathroom sinks. Checked and lubricated shower faucets. This is one of my best experiences with a Angie's List contractor yet and I've had several in different cities. Scarborough is top of the line - excellent communication, they kept me appraised throughout, extremely fair with pricey - they told me what didn't need to be done. Provider changed out a bathroom faucet, that was leaking hot water, for a new one which we provided. Everything went smoothly and provider was very polite and very efficient. He went above and beyond what was expected in that he found that the pipes underneath the sink had no cut-off valves and so he installed these. That way, I the future if we have a leak we will be able to close off the leak until it can be fixed.

I have a rental property and live out of town. Jessica arranged for the inspection of the problem which they temporarily fixed before re-piping the kitchen several days later. The service was excellent and I was kept informed. I felt the price was fair and the tenant was happy with the repair.

They replaced frozen old faucets under the sinks throughout the cottage. Checked second toilet for leakage outside of house. Two plumbers came exactly when they were scheduled. I received a phone call approximately a half hour before they arrived to let me know they would be there on time. Both these young men were not only prompt, but very courteous, efficient, and took the time to explain what needed to be done. The house is thirty years old and so is most of the plumbing.
