I have been a LONG time advocate and customer of Schumacher... but I will NEVER return to do business again with these unprofessional people. I recently brought my car in for repairs (a valet company damaged the car) I got a quote and the insurance company and Schumacher came to an agreement on the amount. Fast forward- my husband went to pick up the car and they charged him $200 over the quote amount! Noone has answers to why they did this. Incredibly disappointed with their customer service/ service department. Have had a brand new ATLAS for 3 months and there was a safety recall involving the second row with car seats (of which I have two) they could not get us in for inspection for over a week and just told us it was “probably nothing”. ***MUST READ*** I have a 2013 VW Passat with under 50,000 and I brought it in because my air bag light was on. I had a 10:30 appt and I was told it was cost $165 to diagnose the problem. My service provider stated that she couldn’t guarantee that my car would be looked at that day which I didn’t understand because I had an appt. I went into VW for the main purpose of buying a New 7 seater car that was able to tow an RV. The sales person KNEW the main reason. We were told it can tow up to 5000lbs,,, not true! The New Atlas DOES NOT COME TOWABLE EQUIPPED. VW told us we neede to get our own hitch Co. To install one, no problem. We found 2. We were told the only way for us to tow the capacity of the car, if it was installed in Germany on the assembly line! There is NO WAY to attach a braking system for a 5000lb travel trailer or anyother 5000lb trailer.... read more

My car is 5 years old. We Brought it in for the 40,000 mile service and the ducts in the moon roof were supposed to be checked and cleaned. Every time it rains water pours into my car by the doors and I now have mold growing in my car! I have never had so many problems with a car (this is my second VW). We were treated horribly by a manager and the customer service department. Never going back again, nor buying another VW!!

We bought my daughter's car in on a Thursday for them to check a tire because the tire was low on air. The car was there all day for them to tell us there was NOTHING wrong with the tire and they would replace a $2 valve and charged us $29. We went out of town for a week and came home to find the tire low again. The car was towed to Schumacher North Lake and then they told us they found a pin hole In the tire and it would cost close to $200 to replace. Extremely frustrated and disappointed with this dealership. We brought our 2013 Passat into the Service department today for several issues, one being our low-beam headlight not working. We actually tried fixing it ourselves by purchasing a new bulb($30), but with the new bulb, it still wasn't working. We checked the fuse, but nothing wrong with the fuse.
