I've been going to CSI for as long as I've lived in North County, Ashley has become a staple in my life when it comes to treating my acne and other skin concerns. Everybody in the office is extremely kind and sweet. Ashley has always made me feel extremely safe and welcomed, and I've always left feeling like we have found solutions to my concerns. I also see Dr. Nickerson when Ashley isn't available, and it's always the same pleasant experience. Thank you everybody at CSI!

Dr Nickerson at California Skin Institute is a wonderful, kind and talented physician and I feel very comfortable with him doing my Botox and fillers. When I call the office for an appointment I hear back that day and I have been able to be seen within a couple days. Recently I have been plagued with some hair loss and he saved my sanity during that diagnosis also. So far in my 5 or 6 visits I have never been kept waiting more than a couple minutes. Icing on the cake is the convenient location.

I have been going to CSI for about 8 months now. Dr. Tse is no longer there but she was professional and very informative. Ashley has treated me for Actinic Keratosis with almost complete resolution. I have been receiving treatments for facial brown spot with very positive results due to my determined and consistent compliance. My teenage daughter was treated for a rash and everything was resolved easily. The staff is friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend CSI for your dermatological needs!

I highly recommend California Institute. The facility is a beautiful, modern and the staff is so friendly. They even had good music playing which put me right at ease. I went to get Botox which I have gotten before. Ashely was extremely knowledgeable and professional. She also suggested a different type of Botox which I absolutely love. She took her time to answer any questions I had but was also very efficient during injections so I was in and out in no time allowing me to enjoy most of the day. I was really happy that I came into this office despite the poor reviews. This office accepts insurance and they were all very friendly and competent. I saw Dr. Swati Kannan and am very happy with the visit. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient. She explained everything very well and gave plenty of time to answer any questions I had. Happy to have found a dermatologist who is competent and also accepts insurance. I went here for 8 years seeing Dr. Tse who has since retired. I continued to see the new staff with California Skin Institute. The front office is horrible. No one seems to know what they're doing, and phone calls are never returned. I scheduled a virtual appointment just to get a refill, the appt was scheduled about 12 hours later. I then realized my new insurance was not going to cover and cancelled. They then proceeded to charge me $75 fee. Rosemary, the District Manager, reached out to remedy the entire demeaning ordeal we experienced last month with the Encinitas clinic. My two cents as an Institution is- Rosemary, strives to keep the staff in high standards. She was highly apologetic and assured us she'd reimburse us for the overcharge as well as speak to the staff about improving their customer service. I have to rave about my experience with Ashley Dominique today. I came in to get two bothersome moles removed, and Ashley went above & beyond to help me. I was her last appointment of the day and, even though it was near closing time, she waited patiently for me while I sat on the phone with my health insurance provider to confirm my procedure would be covered. I have had a scar from a surgery procedure years ago. The surgeons office treated it multiple times with injections and sent me to have it lasered but it stopped improving. I just about gave up and decided to give it one more chance. After just one appointment with Ashley my scar tissue softened and lowered significantly after about 2 weeks!!
