Wow, I have never gone to an appointment where the "Doctor" was so flippant and have such a poor attitude. His name was Dan Ilkovitch . Do NOT make an appointment with him..... you will regret it . It is a shame because the other Doctors there might be good but I will not be going back and chancing it. Jasmine, the assistant was a gem.

Business response:

Julie, we are so sorry hear about your experience. A manager from our team will be giving you a call to discuss further. Thank you.

I have been a patient at the ClearlyDerm Fort Lauderdale location since 2019. I have never felt the need to leave a review until my most recent experience. I had an excision done on my back, and the bandage was so poorly applied that it fell off less than six hours later (I should add that I had done nothing strenuous whatsoever). Meanwhile, I had been told the wound needed to remain covered for 24 hours before showering. Since the wound was completely exposed, it was rubbing on everything and became extremely uncomfortable.... read more

As much as I like Dr.Weatherall my time is more valuable. There are plenty good doctors in the area without a 2 hour wait. Be prepared to waste away your entire day at this location. It's absolutely unacceptable and the office takes zero accountability for it.

BEWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I came here once and paid my bill for my basic 5 min apt with the doctor which by the was was horrible because he had an FAU student with him and did not ask me if I was okay with it. FYI I WAS NOT OKAY WITH IT... since I was familiar with the face cause I attend the school as well. It made me uncomfortable knowing that I know the student. Second, I'm writing the reviews because somehow I still owe money? I paid when I left and how do I still owe money for a 5 minute visit that resulted ... read more

Business response:

Hi Daviana, we apologize for your frustration. We have well-known and sought after Dermatologists and therefore receive hundreds of calls per day. If staff is on a call or assisting a patient in the office, they are sometimes unable to answer right away. We check voicemails and return them constantly throughout the day- I'm not sure if this was the case with you but I do see in our records that somebody from our office did speak with and assist you earlier today. In regards to patient forms online, that is available for pati... read more

So I get an E mail telling me that " the charge was pre determined by my insurance, Medicare, well funny thing is I've had injections of this same steroid before and it was 100 percent covered by my Insurance.. So again ripped off of $83.00 Don't go here they asked for my E mail , well look at your paperwork... you already have it. You are nothing but a scam and the bump is still there. In, case you decide to do the " Ethical " thing Refund my money and send it to me at my address you have on file, otherwise I will ... read more

Business response:

Hi James, The charge accrued for steroid injections is predetermined by your insurance provider. Regardless of which dermatology practice you'd visit, your charge would be the same for this service. Your insurance company can provide more information to you regarding your plan and the fee(s) associated with specialty services. TO ADD- Medicare has a REQUIRED annual deductible of $198 for all members. Regardless of which doctors' office(s) you'd be seen at, Medicare would require they collect for fee(s) they specify until t... read more

This place is a lie. The doctor didn't take his time to explain or even check me. They dont really care about the patient, how you spend 2minutes with your patient? Real doctors take their time. Definitely not coming back.

Business response:

Hi Veronica, We've been looking to get a hold of you. Please email us directly at info@clearlyderm.com so we may discuss your concerns and hopefully offer a resolution. Our typical exams range anywhere from 15-30 minutes, on average. It concerns us to hear that you do not feel time spent with the provider was adequate, and we would like to resolve that by inviting you to have a follow up exam with another practitioner. Every one of our skilled providers is instilled with Clearlyderm's core values and mission to provide ... read more

Be careful going here. For over a year, the doctor insisted a spot on my face would be fine and froze it off 3 times. It came back each time, flaky and scaly. Three weeks ago I got a second opinion and it was basal cell carcinoma and required Mohs. Three cuts and Plastic Surgery and now I have a horrible scar on my face because the cancer grew deeper than it would have had it been caught the first time I asked if it should be biopsied. I emailed the Medical Director and received no response. 3/2019

Business response:

Hi Ann, Our Medical Directors had attempted to reach out to you in March to discuss your statements above and medical visits further in depth. We did not receive response back from you,

BEWARE-I went in to have a yearly mole check and have some small pen mark sized unsightly brown age spots lasered off. I was told I would have to wait two weeks to get the laser treatment so I could have them burned/frozen off with the CO2 Gun right then for $149. So I did it- HUGE mistake. Right as Holiday parties were starting and wanting to wear party dresses. I was told they would scab up and fall off in a few days....They swelled up, hurt and burst within hours-then Several spots became infected, a month later now sever... read more

I have a lesion that has been bleeding for a week and I called today because I needed to be seen. I have ins but right now the visit would go all toward my deductible and I don't get paid until 8/31. The billing dept completely refused to help me either allowing me to be billed or make arrangements to make payment on 8/31. I am changing to a different Derm office that puts patients ahead of money. So disappointed!!!

Business response:

Michelle, We are sorry that we were unable to see you as a new emergency patient. We have since spoken to you and we hope that we can be of help to you in the future. Thank you
