I took advantage of the Thanksgiving sale and purchased one Fraxel treatment at the virtual cosmetic consultation and scheduled the treatment for today. I again got a call at 9 this morning to confirm that I should get there by 12:30. I happened to double check with them that if I was prepaid. I am updating my review fourteen months after my initial visit with Dr. Farber, who as I understand has left this practice for Philadelphia. In January 2020 she performed a biopsy on my cheek after telling me that the small, non-raised pink mark I had gone to show her was likely basal cell cancer. In reality, it was a DERMATITIS. Been waiting 2 weeks for a call regarding a possible cancerous mole on my back and blood work, that I was told I'd have a result on in 2-3 days. YOU CAN NEVER get anyone on the phone. The call center is a joke. Ive called 3 times to no avail. How does a DOCTORS OFFICE NOT ANSWER YOU?!!! . O, also was never told I was supposed to get a Solera shot every 3 months, leading me to another psoriasis outbreak and more bloodwork! LOVE IT!

I have only had PTSD-inducing experiences with SchweigerDerm call center. 2 years ago, following a horrible accident that left me with a shattered leg, I needed to be seen because I had horrible welts at each of my incision sites. The doctor who saw me (diagnosing mw with both contact dear and impetigo- saying, "how'd you get THAT?"*) gave me his card and told me to call if I needed him. I've waited quite some time to write this review as I generally try to leave medical appointments out of Yelp. However, I want others to have a chance to read about my experience before they ever make an appt with Schweiger. My first and last appointment with Dr. Michele Farber was early / mid 2018. Stay away from this place with a 10-foot pole. Their billing department is beyond atrocious and customer service is non-existent. I went for one appointment and was double charged. I have now been trying for 3 months to get my money back, which has proven to be next to impossible. I have called at least 10 times, each time I get a hopeful answer that my check is on its way or that a manager will call me back, with zero follow through. This place cannot be trusted. Took an appointment for my daughter and they cancelled it twice. The third time we went after receiving an email of confirmation but they told that finally it was also cancelled. Of course, no apologies. Avoid absolutely.

I don't usually write reviews, but I was very unsatisfied with the service provided. When I went in for my appointment, the receptionist was very rude towards me. She made it seem like I was a bother when I asked her questions about my appointment. I met with a physician named Emily, and she seemed to careless. She looked at my face for a couple of minutes and then immediately wrote me a prescription and said I was done. I had a similar experience to that of S.D. I went to Marianne Pistilli because I had a terrible case of poison ivy. She told me to use calamine lotion. Really? I spent my time and co-pay to have a nurse tell me to use an over-the-counter lotion that doesn't help anyway? I asked for a prednisone pack (6-5-4-3-2-1 pill each day) several friends have been given to accelerate healing and improve symptoms. Her response: "I couldn't do that!"
