Visited my favorite spa in Santa Cruz yesterday and had a fabulous facial. Rose was great! She explained all various facials offered and their main purpose. It was wonderful, the equipment she used was really effective and gentle. Definitely going back!

I called and left a message yesterday and no one called me back. ( if was after hours) Called today at 11 and told the lady I was referred to by another client of theirs and would like to book an appt for Botox. We agreed and 2:50 today and she took down my information and put me on hold. She returned and was explaining the prices to me and then put me on hold. Very rude staff. Obviously not dog people, as, on my first visit, they took one look at my little Havanese who is the beloved receptionist for me in my health care office and, in a very cold tone, said "No dogs allowed!" It was a very hot day, and there were no parking places in the shade, so I was reluctant to put my dog in the car. Then they were insistent in wanting to charge me a $50 cancelation fee!

While I like this place, it's got some work to do in managing customer service. Winter of 2016-2017 was the worst, rainiest winter in history, governor declared it an emergency. Why do I bring this up? Because UltraDerm could care less that an appointment had to be cancelled when a highway washed out and that I was not able to get to the appointment. I moved to Santa Cruz recently and wanted to find a first class medical spa. After my first visit to UltraDerm, I knew I didn't need to look further. The staff is professional, warm and accommodating. They show interest in me and what I want. There is no pressure to buy or have any procedure that I don't want. I am respected and they have made me feel that not only is my business valuable to them, but I am valuable too.

Love this place. The IPL was a huge success. I can't believe how well this technology works without being "invasive". The broken capillaries from my Rosacea and Melasma "pregnancy mask" are 99% gone!

Ultraderm is truly a wonderful place. Relaxed like a spa but up on all the latest in med spa procedures. Very skilled technicians - Kim, Kat, and Katie are incredible. They are great people who are also amazing at what they do. The receptionists are very helpful and nice. I've never had anything but a 5 star experience here. Highly recommended!

Professional, thorough, explained procedures completely and didn't try to up sell me Botox or other services like SC Med Spa. I would highly recommend UltraDerm. I had a really good experience here.

Completely serene. Totally private. Extremely relaxing. My new favorite place to visit. The atmosphere and staff make you feel comfortable, not uptight and pretentious.
