I saw Dr. Cabral six weeks ago for a laser treatment. First of all they were very cagey about pricing on the phone, which is sometimes the case in these situations, so I didn't think much about it. When I came in and met with Dr Cabral it was like negotiating in a Middle Eastern street fair. He said, "Oh this laser is $500 per five minutes and you're going to need at least 20 minutes so I should charge you two grand. If you are looking for a professional office with helpful staff and a skilled and friendly physician...look no further. Dr. Carbal and the office staff are fantastic!!! The office and exam rooms are bright and clean! Always a plus when going to a dermatologist. As a retired RN I highly recommend their services.

I have never been so disappointed. I can not go into detail, but I would never go back and have senses found another doctor and am very happy. Eric, get's a #1, do your research!!

My usual doctor is no longer working here so I took the advice of the front desk receptionist and booked an appointment with ERIK CABRAL (who now is the only dermatologist there). What an incredibly awful experience. He walked into my 'room' while still giving instructions to his assistant on the last customer, ignoring my hello. I tried explaining my pain/problem and how I can't put pressure on my mid back while sitting, but he didn't seem to want to listen to me. I met Dr. Cabral five years ago when he was down in Fremont. I was impressed with his demeanor and sense of humor he made you feel relaxed which is impossible for me since I have ADHD and GAD. I had a mole on my neck that needed to be watched closely in clinic twice a year. So the new Doctor was keeping an eye out I would go in a few times a year for my rosacea and have her watch it because it was growing back weird. First of all let me state that everyone in this office is exceptional. California Skin Institute is part of a group owned by Dr. Morganroth, who my previous dermatologist and family friend of 60 years highly recommended. Of course I went straight to this business when we moved to Sonoma County and we have not been disappointed. I cannot understand some of these reviews on Yelp. I Have been getting facials from Mindy for years, she's very knowledgeable and her goal is truly help and improve peoples skin. She has guided me with skin care routines, and she is truly amazing at what she does. She makes sure she gets her clients skin to where they want it to be in a reasonable time frame because it just doesn't happen over night.

Dr. Cabral, and the staff, at the California Skin Institute provided me with excellent service, a friendly demeanor from the first time I called to when when I walked in, accurate pricing before services were rendered, and a quick and painless procedure. I had a skin tag removed below my eye (painless), a couple removed on my neck, and a few milia removed near my temple a couple of days ago. So far I'm healing quickly and can personally attest to their great service... I'm a very satisfied customer .
