The staff and Dr. are very nice, but I felt like they just wanted to make money. I went in and did the C02 laser, because that's what Dr.Cabral recommended. (one session is $1500) It was very painful for about a week. After my week of healing, my face looked like nothing was done to it. Yes it was my choice to have this procedure done, but I'm very disappointed in the results (they're are none) I have received after spending that much money. In my opinion is was not worth it and will not do it again.

My experience with California Skin Institute has been with Dr. Rodger Freidenthal. I have enjoyed the professionalism and courtesy of his office and the excellent results of procedures he has performed. Not only have I referred other family and friends to Dr. Friedenthal all have had the same opinion as mine. We could not have received better treatment or successful outcomes.

Having been a long time patient of the previous private physician at this location, we have been through several physicians employed by the California Skin Institute. We, my husband and I, have to say that Dr. Kober is far and above the absolute best that we have ever encountered. She was prompt with no waiting, pleasant but extremely professional and went out of her way to alleviate concerns we had as well as promptly taking care of issues we were there for. The unprofessionalism I have met while dealing with the California Skin Institute is astounding. I initially went in to have a small but unusual mole removed from my face in August 2016. I never received any contact from the Institute so I assumed everything was normal. When I went in October to make a payment, I was told that it should be covered because the lab tests had determined it was Carcinoma. Great looking building and offices- but that's about all. This place is basically a mill - lining up one patient after another. What I didn't appreciate is the attitude when you ask how much something will cost BEFORE you have it done. I wanted to know so I was not hit with a surprise bill and suddenly, the smiles were wiped from the face. I could see it all over them "oh he is one of those people".
