It needs some help. The houses had stretches of nothing. Not scary. And the actors weren't really into it. Most of the staff were great. Rage 3D was really good though :). One female staff member working in the deadwood line was EXTREMELY rude. She was screaming at people to put their masks on. If masks were necessary, fine. But learn how to tell people. Super lame and not scary. No effort into the houses. Very dirty facilities. No real social distancing or sanitation. Overpriced for what it was. No cell service to pass time or stay connected with your group or in case of emergency. Sketchy staff (not everyone) that has a history of sexually harassing guests. Paid extra for paintball and had to wait 1.5 hours in line and they were only open for 3. Only got to go into the Asylum and the Church(?) houses and they both sucked. It was the worst experience! Workers were so rude! From the front booth to pay for parking, we were told one thing by one rude worker, and when we went to the booth, it was another thing. They made us pay for parking and later told us that we don’t have enough time go on the haunted houses, AFTER the fact that we already payed for parking. My partner and two friends travelled two hours to attend; only one of us had been here before, and I have to say, this was not a good first impression for the rest of us. Despite what it says on the website and on signs throughout the park, there was ZERO enforcement of mask-wearing, nor social distancing. Lame. Waste of money. Last year was a little better.
The houses were a bit dull and boring. Employees did not wear face coverings, but yet would pretend to enforce them by telling people to put them on. But they wouldn’t do anything about the people that weren’t wearing one. Each house opened in 15 minute increments which is quite odd when social distancing is supposed to be enforced.
