The house is clean only at first glance; look closer and you’ll find mold, mildew, thick, sticky mystery grime all over vents and fans. Cobwebs everywhere. Rusted doors and windows, gross carpet, dirty furniture. If you have any type of respiratory illness, stay away unless you want to spend the night at the ER. Management is unresponsive to complaints.

I stayed at Lighthouse Pointe with a large group of 12. We stayed during the week of 8/21/21 - 8/28/21. Myself and one other were sharing the large master room on the 3rd floor. The place was poorly cleaned prior to arrival but we overlooked all that for the large home and views. Upon waking up after our first night we noticed several bed bugs crawling in the bed. The rental in Colington on Eagle dr has great potential. My family knows this because we stayed at the same house last year. This time it is apparent that their lack of employment and management are being used against the customer. We didn’t get to enter the house until over two hours after the recommended time. The house was is in shambles. The front screen door has been patched so many times- it should have been replaced last year! The screen on the back porch was busted out. We arrived at a Seaside Vacation on Sunday, May 2, 2021 and the place was not cleaned properly. Seaside Vacation reached out and asked how things were going within an hour of arriving and my wife responded and reported the dirtiness of the condo immediately. There was eye contacts on the floor in the bathroom which tells me no one touched the floor. The comforters were disgusting, floor was gritty of sand throughout the condo and dog poop in a bucket on the deck. So, my wife and her mom spent the evening cleaning. They offer... read more

I recently spent one week at OBX Attitude. I was celebrating my 72nd birthday with my family and friends.The house itself was very nice. After my return home,to my surprise,I received a phone call from Seaside Vacations. They accused me of having a cat in the house and cat urine on the carpet. This was a shock to me. There were never any cats or other animals in the house while we were there. They told me that that are going to charge me for the cleaning bill. As annual visitors to the Outer Banks, we are experienced renters. It just goes to show you cannot judge a place by the online pictures. We rented the Fun in the Sun house in Corolla. Upon arrival, we were unable to get into the upper level of the pool house without going through an unlocked window. None of the keys provided worked in the door.
