Dealing with Seaside is great. However, the house we stayed in, The Bacon House was bad. Dining room chhair was broke, kitchen plates and bowls were all chipped. Sorry not feeding my family on chipped dishes. Hot tubs water had a bad smell. Sleeper sofa no one wanted to sleep on it. A C went out half way thru visit. Seaside did get it taken care of, but owner needs to replace it. Will not stay there again or recommend it. Only good thing was the was advertised as 3 bedrooms, but when we got there found out had 4 bedrooms.
Our family had rented from Joe Lamb in the past & we always had horrible customer service once we got in the house. I am happy to report that the customer service w Seaside was excellent. The only issue we had was with the ac unit in our house. It could not keep the house cool. During the day the temperature inside ranged from 80 to 85 degrees. I contacted seaside and they bought us some window units. Unfortunately, I had to wait at the house several hours on 3 different days for the repair man to come and try to fix the ac... read more
This place is horrible. The condo is nice but their customer service is horrendous. I have been lied to for 26 hours.

You had issues with a television that needed to be reset and we were delayed in fixing that for you due to staff shortage caused by illness. However, this isn't an excuse. Dragonfly Cove. BEWARE. We stayed there last year and the photos (which they are still using) are VERY MISLEADING. The house was filthy. The walls had hole strips of paint missing. The rugs were unsanitary and the decks couldn’t be used because of the raised nails all over them. Calls to the management company were met with disbelief and the agent was less than helpful. Seaside, I Checked in at rental house after 5 today to discover it was misrepresented on your website. The master bedroom and bathroom had no central air and two malfunctioning window type units and were at least 90 degrees. The master bedroom also reeked of cigarette smoke. This was billed as a non smoking house. Two maintenance visits later another standalone unit installed and the temperature is inching lower, however the stench and the humidity remain. My friends and I rented the seahorse 4 location for a week, the house had major plumbing issues during our stay that flooded the whole first room and hall downstairs. When maintenance was alerted I felt like they were trying to make it our fault although it was obvious the issue was due to the water heater. The water that soaked into the rug left a moldy smell through out all of downstairs for the entire trip. We did a reservation with Seaside Vacations Outer Banks for two families to stay at Sunsets in Duck, NCfor the Labor Day long weekend as our summer vacation. A few days prior to our trip, we realized that Tropical Storm Hermine will hit the Outer Banks area the exact same time that we had planned to go there for our vacation. Do NOT use Seaside vacation worse rental experience I ever had. I will never use them again. House smelled like Mold. Pool was dirty and hot tub did not work . called and emailed all week about hot tub and they insisted someone would be out to fix it that never happened. Worse customer service ever oh and they did tell us the owner said the hot tub was working the morning prior to our arrival in other words they called us liars.
