Property: Atlantic Oasis (#2065) Bottom Line Up Front: House wasn't cleaned prior to our (scheduled) 4pm arrival. House was not properly cleaned - a bean bag chair covered in vomit/urine was left from the previous tenants. Volleyball court was overgrown with weeds/bushes rendering it useless. Septic backed up halfway through stay resulting into sewage backing up into house. Poor customer service when dealing with this myriad of issues. So my 12 friends and I stayed at property number 2065; the Atlantic Oasis. When we arrived the cleaners were not done and we weren't allowed to enter the house until about 45-60 minutes after our given arrival time. We were given $100 refund because of their "clean guarantee" policy, but because they rushed the house was not completely cleaned. They removed a bean bag chair from the house that had been vomited or urinated on by previous renters, but left it on the side of the house for our viewing pleasure for the remainder ... read more
Very disappointed! Pictures online make it look so much better than it is. Lots of dust around the house. Cobwebs hanging from lights and ceiling. We went out and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned ourselves. Paid for a pool and were looking forward to using it but the pool was never cleaned. Leaves and sand in the pool. Deck area needed cleaning also. Excuse was the storm/would have been nice to at least had the pool for 3 or 4 days of our stay but were not able to use the entire week. We are extremely disappointed with the quality of our rental as well as the service and follow up with the company. We will never use you again. You have lost a each family.

Highly upset. This company is completely outrageous. Myself (age 22) my fiancé (22), my bother (18) and a good family friend (26) booked a rental June 6th - 12th 2016. We are from PA so we drove 8 hours to get to OBX. We paid in full for the rental property back in March 3016 months before arrival also we signed a lease agreement and mailed it back after careful review no where in the lease did it state renter must be 25 years of age and must be a family. I want to start by saying that this was our 3rd or 4th time at OB Haven. The first couple years were with Kitty Hawk, never a problem. This year our hot tub didn't work. Not really a big deal until they came to fix it. After taking it apart,the guy that came to fix it left electric tool all over the deck plugged in when he left for the day. We have young children with us. We are disappointed with are townhouse rental. The main thing is our air conditioning went out. We have been dealing with portable air conditioners all week. They are very loud and only get the house as cool as 75 degrees. Other things we have to deal with are nails popping up on the balconies, chipped paint on the walls, possible mold growing in the master bedroom, and trash left from the previous week renter. Definitely not going through Seaside Vacations again if we come to the OBX next summer.
First off the house for the most part and location at the Salty Dog was INCREDIBLE! Kudo's to the home owners! So this is the negative list of events. 2 days before we left for our vacation, we get a call saying the elevator in our house was broken and asked if that would be an issue. We said not really but we weren't happy about it either.
