Shane came out and lets us know that our chimney needed to be torn down and rebuilt. We had several estimates and his included more details and he followed up with a phone call that helped us decide to hire him. We appreciated his knowledge and the refrences that he had of prior work. Our chimney is up and looks great. Shane made an extra effort to match the brick close to the color of or painted brick. Thank you for a job well done.

He was very polite and was careful to keep everything clean. Did run about 1/2 hr. Late but was very helpful. I would use him again.

I had the Mad Hatter come out after signing up at the Home Show. We just purchased the house, so we needed it inspected. Total rip off!!! They said I couldn't have a fire as there were cracks and it would cost about $4500 to fix, all in the first 3 minutes of being here Sure Clean came out, took pictures, went on the roof and did a crown repair for $850. Shane was absolutely trustworthy and did the work quickly.

I advised I thought it was the thermocouple. The guy came out, was unvaccinated and did not have a mask. He was very friendly but told me it was the thermocouple, which I knew. They were going to charge $1700 to fix. I had someone else out, part was $20 and it took him 10 minutes to fix and realize it was the valve that needed replaced. If I paid him for a diagnosis, he should?ve diagnosed it correctly. Total waste of $100.

We hired this company based on some reviews on Angi and laid out a 20% deposit - big mistake. Not enough time or space to go into detail, but they were never straight with us and never could give us a project schedule...full of all kinds of excuses. When finally confronted with this they simply said they had hiring issues and gave us our deposit back - after wasting several months of our timer.

Poor chimney masonry, poor follow up, no supervision, messy on property. replaced trim boards twice due to poor finish, replaced stucco twice due to poor finish, three masonry crews before it was done correctly, 2 story old Chicago brick chimney had to be cleaned with muriatic acid due not quitting but working in the rain and the concrete running down the existing brick on the chimney, no scaffolding for first crew, last crew set up scaffolding. took them 3 weeks to complete project.

We decided to hire them. We gave them a $2000 deposit to get a permit and were told they could get it in 2-3 weeks. I started contacting them at 4 weeks when I had not heard anything. I kept calling and they said that it would be done in a few days. I received the drawings and plans 7 weeks later. They were very basic with no details. We asked to have an appointment to sit down and discuss. The first appointment was cancelled the that day because Harold was ill. We rescheduled and he never showed up. We rescheduled again. At... read more

I got an estimate from Shane construction and some other bids for a paver patio. After telling Shane that I was going to go with them, Shane told me that it would cost $500 more due to material costs for the pavers. I accepted that updated cost estimate against my better judgement. I signed the contract and paid $500 as a deposit. After one month of hearing nothing from this company, after multiple messages and texts, they finally got back to me. They now informed me that it would be $1000 additional, which is now $1,500.00 ... read more

Business response:

We had a contract for Steve signed and was preparing to do the job. During the review process of the job, we found that the material desired did not match up to the original material discussed upon our first meeting. Original discussions were for a specific brand of paver and not a style. The styles selected by Steve ranged from $5.50 - $44.50 a square foot. The salesman-Tim was instructed to return to Steve to inform him of the change in material costs-which did not go well with Steve. In order to settle the issue, we refun... read more
