They charged me in advance for an assessment that the promised to do within 10 days, they took weeks and I had to help the guy to do the assessment, no value in their service.
because the service uses contractors for firebrick, the scheduling is less exact. the workmanship is good for one year. but i woukd use them again because they do instill trust in craftmanship. in the end i just want quality work.
Do not use this company! I was given an estimate with promises not kept. A job that was supposed to take 4 hours to lead into 4 months with multiple phone calls, workers who did not do completed work, clean up after themselves and even asking for the check only after 1 hour on the job. Fireplace needed repair with open mortar joints and bricks that needed to be replaced. I have been waiting for over a month to get the fireplace/ chimney work done - the work is only about half done. The weather has been great these last month as I have been waiting. Communication with the owner has been very spotty - I have called and texted and generally I do not hear back. I was told, again, the work would be done last week, this time, so I worked from home. They called months after submitted the request on HomeAdvisors. Estimated a day’s work and then only spent 3 hours here and then kept the same price I was required to pay them! Missed spots and I never heard anything back until a random guy showed up on my porch at 8:00 in the evening two weeks later. The person I worked with for estimate quit the company and was sending me texts about what a bad company it was. Never again.

Office staff tried to make contact many times pertaining to the job without any response from Jennifer. This company will never send random people anywhere. The mason on that job was the only mason that went to her home.

Workmanship appears ok and price was competitive. BUT workers out of control, dumped mortar waste in woods, used tools without permission, leaving residue in same, left mortar waste on walk surfaces. Not careful of areas in which work performed. Owner decent guy but his help very poor. Would not recommend due to this.

Very surprised to see this review from Lori after SHE DID recommend one of her clients, Michelle, to me!! The guys who did the clean up on this job are no longer with our company. I apologized and made sure everything was to Lori's satisfaction before I asked for a check. The two chimney rebuilds we did for Lori turned out fantastic and that's why Michelle gave us a call to look at her chimney. Thank you for the referral Lori! :)

I've left 4 messages for Terry about this review. She won't return my calls. She had a leaking chimney that we fixed for $500. The price she agreed to before we started. I did all of what I said I would do. I worked 5 years for my Dad right out of high school in his business and learned great customer service at an early age. Occasionally you run across a person like this that you just can't please. Maybe she didn't like the color of my shirt I was wearing that day. She did at least get "friendly and knowledgeable" right. :)
