After 3 calls and 1 bad review posted by me on home advisor they came the next day and did the job in a few hours.
I hired SC Masonry and made a down payment of $420.00. Was supposed to have chimney finished in 2 weeks. No one has called to postpone. I have called them 4 times and cannot get a starting date. It has been 4 weeks now.
Do not use them. Paid Down payment. Now owner will not return calls will not start job. Numerous calls leads no where. Will not return calls,

My apologies that we couldn?t get to your job as quickly as you would have liked as other jobs took longer than expected. Our office did communicate with you and we gave your 20% deposit back the very next day that you asked for it.
Terrible
They make promises they do not keep, have blown me off on five different occasion and never hear from them. I feel taken advantage of. Im so disappointed
I am in the commercial construction industry. Do not hire. Poor workmanship. Poor communication. Dragged out the work. They showed up when they felt like it. President ignored my phone calls. I had to direct their work. They created a safety hazard at my home, almost causing an injury to me.
Always have 2 or 3 professionals review your project.
If it was possible, I would award zero stars. I am extremely disappointed with this company. I got an estimate on 11-26-19 & made a down payment. First scheduled opening was Dec 10, 2019. The company wasn't able to come out due to the weather. When I called back to follow up, the office staff was INCREDIBLY disorganized, acted as if they had never heard of me. On 9/19/19 I left a review about how SCMasonry did a job on the chimney. The guys that did the work I reviewed as good but after 3 months of calling, sending a video of leaking fireplace that was the reason they were hired to fix now as of 1/1/20 it is still leaking Can not get a response from Tim or Shane. He uses subcontractors that show up when they what and only after I agreed to change a bad review they came to finish the job but still did not fix the problem. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!
