Overall, the experience was very good; there was no issue with the staff. The settlement day spent with Steven Muller was made very comfortable. We enjoyed working with him. There were no surprises with settlement.

At the end we achieved a settlement, but the end took a significant time to arrive with much unnecessary anxiety for us. In mediation, we felt that we should have been more prepared to challenge some of the employment behavior things that the mediator introduced that we later learned through the CPP process was as a result of deliberate misinformation by the employer conveying false facts to the insurer and the insurer in turn conveying these to the mediator as justification for not being forthcoming with a settlement. On my first call they made me feel welcome and validated, my disabilities were not all in my head, and they were real. I didn’t feel ashamed of explaining my problems. Everyone was very patient and understanding. Made sure to explain everything and check to make sure I understood. I was happy to get the settlement I did and to have it resolved so quickly.
