I love this place! They make me and my dogs feel like family. The staff is so warm and welcoming and Dr. Simpson is phenomenal! His knowledge and genuine love for animals is what keeps us coming here!

We are always treated so well when coming here! Dr. Coffee is the best and always takes time to answer any questions we have. We never feel rushed or like we are taking up too much of the doctors time. The staff is amazing and very friendly each time we go in. We are always able to get in same day or after hours if we have an urgent need!
We were new to Shawnee and needed a Vet for Biscuit. Dr. Ely is just the best we could ask for. He took plenty of time to explain the heartworm test to me also, which no vet had really done before, not to where I really understood it. This meant so much. Biscuit is in such caring, capable hands here and I am certain all the animals at Shawnee Animal Hospital are as well.
We just moved from DFW to Shawnee and in a week after arriving my three-year-old Yorkie got sick. He began throwing up and having diarrhea and very lethargic. I could tell he was running fever by touching his belly. On Friday, I began worrying that it was getting important to get him to a doctor. Was Unable to Reach a vet after hours on the weekend as Our dog was treated by them an took a turn for the worse. Medication did not work attempt to call several times No answer. Disappointed with phone service an after hours contact we need a Vet that we can depend upon. that's going to be there for us. The prices are good as are the vets but I draw the line after this. They provided excellent service performing surgery on my 15 year old kitty! Reasonable price and great follow up!
I highly recommend Shawnee Animal Hospital. Dr. Steward, Dr. Simpson, and Dr. Coffee are all awesome. The staff is always very friendly and helpful too.
This place is the best. It's not our regular vet, but we called when our puppy was extremely sick. It was a Saturday and 20 minutes before they closed... but they let us come in and made the time to see our baby. I liked how welcoming they were. And in the office, the tech asked what budget we wanted to stay under (given everything was doable...). I've never heard of that at a vet, in fact we've always been taken advantage of. Our dog was injured possibly due to the cable leash we had him attached to. We felt so bad for our dog, we took him in for help. The vet was so kind and taught us what to do to keep our dog from being hurt again. They were so kind and were able to get him patched up quickly. Our dog is doing great now. Thank you!
