they screwed me for the last time. 2 dogs $410 he had attitude like I wasnt trying to take care of my dogs. I been giving tick and flea stuff. the yard treatment ran out. had baby fleas couldn't really see. anyway if I had gone to Vet Voss it would have been like $150. Shawnee was $58 each to see dog plus $10 each for no appointmen. We have gone to this vet for about two years just because they are the closest to home. I took my dog in again because she was coughing a lot and seemed to be in pain. They told us it was nothing and because she's an older dog it was normal. The issue continued and we took her in two more times. They barely looked at her and told us the same thing. I took my perfectly healthy happy dog into Shawnee Animal Hospital for a teeth cleaning. They returned an extremely sick dog with no explanation. My dog is very sick and in a lot of pain. I think she is dying . I may have to have her put down to stop the suffering. I am 68 years old and have cancer and my dog is my main companion. Thank you Shawnee Hospital for making her so sick due to your incompetence. Worst experience ever. Will never be back! Not only did they have no idea what was wrong with our dog they honestly did not care. I was told another vet in the office would review our chart and call me back. It has been three weeks and have not heard a word from anyone. Thankfully took our dog to another vet and figured out his issues.
The people who work reception are the first people customers deal with. If you can't get people to pleasantly sit on their behinds and answer phones all day then there is a problem somewhere up the chain.
