I wish we could recommend Shawnee Communications. After 2 years of their fiber and large HH encroaching on our property outside of the right of way, it still isn't available to us. The fact that we have called repeatedly about the encroachment, left messages, and gone ignored, with no call back speaks volumes.
This company is a joke has promised us interest for 5 years. I get mail from them atleast once a month telling me to sign up. All they do is put me on a list. They have received government funding to provide me with internet. 1 1/2 years later still nothing. Shawnee Communications PM if you would like.

Hi Larry. In 2020, we received three Connect Illinois grants for fiber deployment: Mitchellsville/Rudement, Goreville/western portion of LOE and Buncombe/West Vienna. This Monopoly needs busted. Openly selling your meta data to the highest bidder. Shawneelink was founded by and only improves with the funding it gets from DC. Yesterday Shawneelink got the majority of a 120 million 'grant' handout from Washington. Which ultimately equals higher prices and less internet transparency.
