Not a fan of the $20 price increase! Never really had any issues with the old stuff. People will do Anything to make more money even when things were fine how they were. I think if you were ok with what you had there shouldn’t have been a change.

Brittany Bates, Shawnee is dedicated to providing great services to all of our subscribers. The copper facilities in Lovington simply do not provided the same speeds or stability as our new Fiber network. With the copper infrastructure, the maximum available speed is 10 Mbps whereas the Fiber offers speeds up to 100 Mbps. Hi Alexzandria. We realize these power related outages are frustrating and no one wants our services back up more than us. Shawnee purchased MITCO and One Eleven less than 12 months ago. It's not realistic to expect a complete overhaul of all aspects of a telecommunications company in that short amount of time. Very unreliable. Name changed but still just as bad as one eleven.
WiFi is very iffy, inconsistent, slow and sometimes no internet. Have nade inquiries with still slow spotty service.
I would give 5 stars but the fact that Hardin County residents are required to have a phone line just to get internet is ludicrous, other counties can get naked DSL but we can't. Federal grants paid for fiber optic to be ran, i love the service but would much rather pay $ 50 for internet i use than $100+ for a phone that i literally unplugged because it is unwanted and has absolutely nothing to do with internet

Hi Tyson. We understand your frustration regarding the requirement for landline service. The option to provide standalone services are in no way tied to grant monies received in order to deploy our FTTH network; that is a regulatory issue. We are optimistic that regulatory changes will be made in the upcoming months that will permit subscribers throughout our entire service territory to receive the desired standalone services.
