Had 7:30 PM reservation but had to wait half hour after arrival at 7:25 before table was available. They need a better reservation management system!
We have been dining at Ela’s for the last five years when vacationing twice a year on HHI. Our experiences have always been great with last night’s being exceptional. The Red Snapper was delicious and of course the grouper my husband enjoyed tremendously…he said it was the best meal he’s had in awhile. So kudos for continuing to exceed our expectations. We will be back!! Karen made sure we had a lovely dinner!
Excellent food and service. A more generous wine pour would have made it a total 5 star event.
View is nice. Water glass had lipstick. Omelet was runny and wet. Replacement was so so, eggs overcooked and they forgot to bring toast but brought jelly. Creamer and fruit bowls were chipped and cracked. Not impressed. Did not live up to the expectations.
My husband’s birthday. We mentioned it at the bar and when our waiter Emilio came to the table he wished my husband a happy birthday. There was a candle on our dessert and happy birthday was sung. It was a beautiful night and dinner was wonderful. We will definitely be back
This was an amazing find on the water with excellent food and service. We were very pleased with our decision to try this for our anniversary. I highly recommend it!!
When it’s not too hot and humid, there’s no better place for outside dining on HHI. Nice views of water and the Shelter Cove harbor. And it helps that the food and service are exceptional. If you can get an outside table reservation, go by all means.
The food was absolutely delicious!!! But sadly the service was terrible. It took 15 minutes to have our waiter greet us and get any water. We ordered our appetizer and meal at the same time- and he said he would space it them out. However the appetizer and entrees arrived at the same time. We absolutely loved our dinner at Ella’s. The food is exceptional. If we vacation again at Hilton Head, no doubt we will return to Ella’s.
